Just finished watching "Through The Looking Glass," and I am more convinced that Ben deliberately did not fight back at Jack mostly not to give him the satisfaction that Jack's impulse had some sort of merit and therefore really cranking up the Jackface. Ben was such a nasty piece of work here and he never had to deliver a blow.

Even before I realised I was in love with Ben I could not watch him being beaten up, it's awful. Ben does not have to use direct violence to get what he wants. When he starts trying to introuce himself to the people who have followed Jack and KateJack says "Don't listen to a word he says" or something like that, he's like Saruman in Lord of the Rings he can put people under his spell with his words.

Oh, Sauron is a great comparison. Yes, he can put people under his spell.

But luckily for us, Ben isn't just a giant eye in a tower.

Well, not as such, no. But he does have big eyes.
