Ok, so the difference with this RP to the other is that we aren't including the real Lost characters from the main show, we are making it up completely, but keeping some of the magic of the various mysteries that happen on the island, such as smoke monsters, others and the weird out of sync with the real world thing.
Also the idea was tossed around that the crash didn't really happen - I don't really understand how that one would work, so maybe people could make up their own minds on how they come to be on the island, whether it be they were born there, marooned/crashed there or raised there. Whatever you prefer
General Rules:
1) You can only post once until someone else posts - you can't post twice in a row.
2) You can't interact with any of the original characters from LOST, and your character can't be one of the LOST characters. In this RP they don't exists, although the concept of crashing on the island and having 'Others' inhabitants can exist. Your character can also interact with other people's characters.
3) You can have more then one character - but please try and be organised with them, and avoid having to many.
4) Your character/s can be either a lostie, an other, dharma person, or they can have arrived on the island any way you please.
5) You can have flashbacks and flashforwards - but these must be written in italics or bold or both if you prefer. Actually, if we have italics for flashbacks and bold for flashforwards, that will be better to identify, and then italics and bold for when the characters are dreaming.
6) You can't kill other participants characters, or act like god over them, unless you get expressed permission from the owner of the character.
7) I did think about setting a 'no timeline' in this role play, however, people may miss things they wanted to include in particualr days. As we aren't following the actual timeline from the orignal tv show (although you can use it still for inspiration and ideas etc). So, how about we do this same time as previous rp? Per two days = 1rp day?
8) (Ooo, do I dare finish on one of the numbers?!?!) You may join the role play at any time, regardless of the amount of days that have past etc, so long as you manage to blend your way in, e.g. pretending you were there all the time, or you got on the island another way (Like Desmond, Danielle, Niomi, the Frieghter people did etc)
Any questions please put into disc. thread. Also, before you start posting, please will you post a brief character description.
