Michael Giacchino is a composer of genius and he has created really impressing, touching soundtrack for almost each character, music which we assosiate a character with...
Ben`s one is `Dharmacide`, so touching and sad piano music... We hear it in almost every tragic or sad moment with Ben... His flashbacks of the childhood, being judged by the Smoke monster, his saying Goodbye to dead Alex, his great monologue `What about me?!` and many others...
So, those of you who love this tragic melody and almost cry every time you listen it, join!..

As a sign towards what a lack of Ben we've had this year, I don't recall hearing Ben's theme once in S6 so far. That will probably change tonight.

To be honest, i`m a little bit afraid of watching it... the last Ben-centric episode in the history of Lost. . . *cries listening to Dharmacide* Caz, I thought that they`re going together?.. Both sinister and sad are parts of the same soundtrack. . or there is another sinister melody?! Why don`t I know that?!  |

Irina I don't get what you mean, Ben's sad theme is a variation of his sinister theme but they sound very different so much so that one makes you cry and the other one doesn't  . I'm sure Ben has another theme though, i've heard it on a few Ben scenes it's the bit of music when Ben is having breakfast with Kate on the beach in 3:01. My other favourite theme is Locke's I love hearing that in the scene when he's banging on the hatch door in S1  I've just turned on my MP3 all this talk is making me wanna listen to it.

I understood what are you talking about  `Dharmacide` is a mix of both sinister and touching melodies. . . I meant the touching and sad one. And, again this wonderful Dharmacide was in Lost! During Ben`s`What matters` scene with Ilana... Oh, divine music!!! Cazaha! Love `Locke`s hatch edit` too!!! And among my favourite are `The Constant`, `Herley`s helping hand`, `Karma Jin-itiative` and many-many others  ;D |

I love the music on Lost, and another favourite was The freighter theme, and 'Of mice and Ben' and can't wait to listen to season 5 ;D |

I love that sound on Lost, I don't know what it is but it always comes on if something strange is about to happen or when something is revealed. Does anyone know what I mean?  |
