The teddy was first dragged across the jungle by the Others in ep 2:05 "And Found" back when we didn't know what the Others were. It probably belonged to tail section kids Zach and Emma, who are now in Smocke's team with Cindy.

aha! It was that scary moment when Jin and Mr Echo were hiding in the bushes when they saw the legs of the mysterious Others... At that time we had absolutely no idea who those mysterious Others were...
