I actually liked this episode and thought that Sawyer as a cop was great and Miles as his partner *Miles as a cop again eh!* it' kept reminding me of him in SAW where he played a cop. Loved the Claire slap scene. Yet another ep without Ben but with that aside it was still a pretty good ep. Nice to see Charles Widmore back on the island but how the hell did he find it as he spent about 20 years looking for it. Bring on Richards ep next week... can't wait to actually find out something about this character. ;D And hopefully we might see Ben too *We'd better*

yeah i wonder how widmore found the island so quickly when it took him forever the first time (when Ben had to move it). I wonder if perhaps, since jacob was the island's protector and he's now dead, the island is now visible to the rest of the world. Like i wonder if jacob was somehow responsible for the island being "invisible" and nearly impossible to find and that when he died that changed so everyone can see... that would explain how widmore found the island so fast...

When Locke was talking about his crazy momma, was it Smokey's life he was referring to, or Locke's? I wonder if he is hinting at a mythological story/character we might already know?
CAN'T. BLOODY. STAND. CHARLOTTE!!!
Kate in Saywer's flash-sideways = wicked lame and unsurprising. They could have given us a nice twist but was a missed opportunity. I still don't understand why everyone else's looking-glass world is opposite but Kate's. It doesn't make any sense.
The dialogue in this one seemed fairly weak, did anybody else think so? Sawyer is supposed to have a stockpile of zingers, but he just seemed so...meh.
Sawyer and Miles as copy buddies? LOVED IT!!!!! I'm still having a hard time wrapping around the possibility that Widmore is against the monster, and might be for Team Jacob all along. We can easily accept Ben turning around and fighting against the real ultimate evil. But if that's where they're going with Widmore, we're gonna need a few more details and explanations that they didn't give us last night. Besides, it makes Ben look better if he banished and fought against an MIB operative, not a fellow Jacob worshiper - and if he isn't on MIB's side, it makes Jacob all the more puzzling for letting Widmore get banished in the first place.
Bobdoc, I don't think we can assume that Widmore is Team Jacob. I think we need more puzzles pieces before we know for sure. I am having a hard time figuring out where he fits in, but I'm not 100% convinced that he is the one that Jacob summoned. I think there's a three-way con going on. Sawyer, Widmore and Smocke are conning each other.
Interesting about the sonic fences. Does that mean Widmore set up the sonic fences? They were living in the barracks when Ben sent him away. So that may mean Widmore set those up, thus he was the one who moved the group into the barracks.
Mythic, yes, absolutely about the three-way con!!I feel the same way!
Irina, me too!!! I was sooo hoping she would be his date!!!
