Today, Damon and Carlton revealed the title for episodes 6.17/6.18 - the series finale. After this, there will be no more episode titles to discover, and no more for me to post here, so the final countdown is indeed here.

As far as we know, Michael is still there - though I certainly can't look through spoiler reports to see any mentions of Ben.

I think given the fan interest and the writers' love for the character and actor, there's a high degree of probability that Ben is there until the end. But as I've stated elsewhere if the role has been reduced to filler lines as it was in last night's ep, I'm not so sure I'd care for that.
