Big Ben exclusive from Entertainment Weekly's Michael Auseillo - and I think at least one person here may have seen this coming. From ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/04/09/lost-ben-romance-spoiler/Leave it to Lost to save Ben’s knottiest twist for last: Sources confirm to me exclusively that next month, the show’s enigmatic puppeteer will find himself mixed up in a most unlikely romance.
“It comes out of nowhere,” says one insider, declining to reveal whether Cupid strikes Ben on the island or in the “sideways” world. “I don’t think anyone will see it coming.”
Then again, as Lost speeds toward its May 23 series finale, it has started to seem as if Cupid is targeting just about everyone. Last week, there was Desmond-Penny’s swoonworthy follow-up to Season 4’s “The Constant,” and next week’s Hurley-centric outing features the return of Cynthia Watros as his ill-fated crush, Libby.
Of course, with great love comes even greater heartbreak. I hear there’s an episode late in the season that will go down as one of the show’s deadliest ever. |

Nope, I wasn't shocked either. I don't like to be spoiled, and this season, I am totally spoil free. But I had a hunch about the actual person, so I had to go there and find out. I am happy to say that I was right with my hunch!
Sideways Ben now makes sense.

I thought it might be Ben and Illana on the island - especially since one of our board members has started shipping them - or them in sideways time since that would be one of those sideways ironies. The actual answer was my third choice.
This coupling will probably be revealed on the May 4'th 6:14 episode, since that is said to be a multi-centric episode in sideways time. Either that, or it'll be on the May 18 6:16 show - I know it can't be in 6.15.
But no matter what, Dr. Linus lives - unless Desmond screws the whole timeline up. |

And here I thought it would be Tom (as Darlton threated in their slap down) riding naked on horseback (oh dear god, please not that) per Secrets of Lost.
Although of the two, I think only ME has not done a nude scene. |

I have been spoiler free as well this season but I couldn't resist this one. Makes perfect sense actually: Alex is Ben's favorite student after all. He'll find love with her mom, Rousseau, and I bet they both start to sense the island like Charlie and Des. Things are getting so interesting!! |
