wow, great episode. Did you expected that Desmond will try to kill John Locke??? Yeah, I did. As we now know that losties have to experience an apparent death to `remember` and `feel`. Poor Ilana I liked her. It`s so cruel to kill her this way. Aaand...it seems that Ben, Richard and Miles are gonna be heroes who will save the island and the candidates who voluntarily fell into Smokey`s clutches... Oh my God, I pray God Ben`s gonna be a hero. Voted 8. I don`t know why but O liked that epi a little bit less than Happily ever after, Dr Linus, L A X, Ab Aeterno and some other good episodes.. Despite the fact that I DO adore Hugo and it was brilliant to see Dr Linus

I'm just worried about Desmond's red shirt... and now he's on the well!!!!! I hope Christian is still ther to help him out..
and who's the boy??? According to IMDB it's the same actor... but he seemed different last night than when we saw him the first time...

I was disappointed when Ilana blew up, but it was also very surprising death, didn't see that coming at all. I loved the little moment when Richard asks Who will come with me? and Ben immediately stands up. Fockes facial expressions were really interesting before he throw Des into the well. ...And now they (almost all) are in The Hospital.

It's being said that Jack made a breakthrough when he told Hurley he needed to let go - but remember, he made a similar breakthrough last year, then abandoned it for Daniel's Jughead plan. He fell off the wagon pretty quick - though that might be expected from a recovering drug addict - for the quick fix of reversing history....and getting over Kate Surely the Man in Black will try to offer him another quick fix and a temptation towards old desires. But maybe this time, after what happened last year, he is better equipped to resist an easy way out. Still don't know if that would make the quadrangle nonsense from The Incident look any better, however.

Michael warned us that there would be a few eps right about now where Ben wouldn't show up. So I would get ready for another long wait until Ben, Richard and Miles come back with their explosive. Well, these are really bad, bad news... Dr. Linus is taking Locke at the hospital, and Ben is on a crucial mission, and the writers are going to ''freeze'' these two storylines, to show us... what? Kate running again? ALT Frogurt falling in love with ALT Zoe?...Yeah, I know what ep #15 will be about, but why the heck ep #13 and #14 should have to be Ben-deprived too?? S6's lack of Ben has severely reduced my love for Lost. ''Dr. Linus'' aside, he's been almost an one-liner this season. What a waste of an awesome character, and of an awesome, pluri-awarded, classy, beloved star. I can't believe they made such a mistake.

It may be upsetting that Ben is still on the sidelines, but there are other important things going on. We're about to get Jack facing the fake Locke at last, the start of the monster's escape plan now that almost all of the candidates are together, perhaps the long long awaited Sun/Jin island reunion since Jin's the last candidate missing, and more barriers breaking between worlds. They're not freezing Ben out just for useless stuff now - although if the triangle becomes important again, that would be an exception.

I think when the Others came around, the whispers of the dead souls were trying to warn people to what was coming, but no one could understand them. But the whispers were also heard in moments like Sayid leaving Rosseau's camp in S1, and when young Ben looked for his mother - maybe they were warnings or just gossip. Remember most of the people who make up the dead chorus are natives, the Others. I can't see them warning an unknown group of castaways at the expense of their friends/family. They might just be trying to communicate in some way. I need to go read the transcripts of the whispers again now that we have confirmation of what they are (heavy handed though it was). Don't confuse Jacob with the island. The island might have been through with Ilana but don't assume Jacob was through with her too. I agree Jacob appears to have been a jerk. He basically made Locke into the perfect lure so Smoky couldn't resist taking his image and he fashioned Ben into the perfect weapon effectively ruining both men's lives in the process. Maybe they are living (or were living or will be living) in the sideways reality because Jacob (or the island) is trying to repay them for what he took. Still. Jerk. Ben wasn't on 815 either but he is in the sideways reality. We don't know if the dead can see the island reality any better. So far all we have seen is how familiar experiences can trigger memories. For Charlie, someone who had died several times in different realities, it was a close death experience. For Des, who had watched Charlie drown with his "not Penny's boat" hand pressed against a window, it was the sight of Charlie's hand pressed against another underwater window. For Daniel just the sight of Charlotte triggered pages of equations and, of course, for Hurley it was Libby's kiss. Now Des has sent an injured Locke into the waiting arms of Jack-spinal surgeon to the hopeless. That trauma should trigger something in both of them! Hurley gets away with a kiss but Locke needs to get hit by a car. Guy just can't catch a break in any reality. I hope not. Ben and Richard might be heading for the barracks but sideways Ben has got to be available to go the hospital with Locke! And find time for that other little spoiler! If he disappears until episode 14, things are going to be too tight to give the storylines justice. Given when Michael gave that interview I'm fairly certain he was referring to the two eps that immediately followed his centric story.

I gave this ep a big fat 9... LOVED IT. I was sooooo glad that Hurley finally got to have a picnic with Libby awwww. OMG! Dr Linus Ilana blowing up... OMG! I was shocked, my dad on the other hand just laughed his head off. *I don't think he liked her that much eh*. I'm actually sad to see the Black Rock gone. Poor Locke he doesn't seem to have any luck....he's already in a wheelchair then he goes and gets run over by Desmond of all people Did Desmond hit him because he wanted him to FEEL the connection to the island OR did he want to kill him?? And if Locke did die, how would that affect him in the other reality?

There is a chance he survived, right? I mean, Locke survived the fall down the well with only a broken leg.... very, very worried. I think I'll cry myself to sleep tonight.

Even if something happens to Desmond in island time, we know that those who die there get an extra bit of insight in sideways time. And Desmond still has tons and tons of work in the sideways world, so some form of him should make it to the end.
