Oh geez.... sounds like another Jack-centric episode...

Well, it appears to be Jack/Locke centric in sideways time, and Jack/MIB Locke centric on the island, so the Lockes should balance it out.

It's official... I am Team Jacob... Smokey=Pure Evil And I'm still hoping Lapidus is still alive, although it's not likely... I really liked him...

Does anyone think something is up with Kate? For one thing, why is she still around? Her backstory has been told and she's really not doing anything but following people around, except that she is wanting to bring Claire back to Aaron. But, I was thinking that she may end up being the 'embodiment' of another. Say MIB's mother??? First of all, there's that weird look Flocke gave her when she joined his group. Then she is always in danger, but never dies. Sawyer said last night that her name had already been crossed out like she was already dead. And, after the crash, when she first meets Jack she is not on the beach with the others. She comes out of the jungle and helps stitch him up. I may be completely off but I'm kind of confused as to why she's being kept around.

When Jack had his most epic Jears fit of all time at the end, and kept looking up at the sky, I wondered if he was thinking one specific phrase - "I hope you're happy now, Jacob."

For me, this is by far the saddest episode on Lost. Bye Kwon couple, that sucks, I was one of Sun's biggest supporters And I agree with Ali, why are we still seeing Kate? She's not a candidate, she's not important, and she's not doing anything, her story has been told already.. why are producers wasting beautiful air time on her when Alpert, Miles AND BEN are still out there? So the thing is: Smokie can't escape until all the candidates are dead, but he can't kill them. Then... why didn't he just send a mad quest to the people who followed him (after the temple was destroyed) to kill them all? Why didn't he have Ben kill them all? Why bother with such an elaborate plan when all he needed was to whack 'em all?

Kate: The one reason she still needs to be alive is to explain why, if she's not a candidate, she got visited and touched by Jacob just like the candidates did. This gives the impression that there's a special purpose for her that Jacob is keeping particularly hidden. Of course, why she needs to have the special hidden purpose, and not people like Ben, is another matter.

The positive thing in this episode was action. The death of Sun and Jin was so "Titanic" that I did't like it, made me feel nothing actually. I'm kind of happy there is only few people alive in the island.
Season 6 sucks this far, but I hope there is something great to come with Jacob, MIB, Ben, Richard and Hurley.

Yup, either Kate is entirely useless to the plot and is there for the male viewers or she has one last card to play. It had better be a good one.
Not sorry to Sun and Jin go. Glad they got back together, but the real tragedy is that they left a little girl without her parents. And of course this being TV that little girl doesn't really matter all the much to the story, so, oh well.
Not all that sorry that Sayid is gone as well. He kept failing to redeem himself, so his only way to do that was to do a Michael. This also must mean there are no more electronic devices to fix or to decode in the story.
So we have Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hugo left. Does bring up an interesting bit of trivia. All the non-white Lostaways are gone. As with Kate, the show reverts to form and goes with the standards of the day: Make the MCs white.
I am sorry to see Lapidus go. He also marks the last character to have any measure of common sense. Besides Vincent, of course. So we're left with a trio of crazies and one guy with a grip on things but isn't given a lot of respect. In that regard, "LOST" is a lot like real life.

OMG!!! I knew there were gonna be loads of deaths in this season but didn't expect THAT!!! 4 main characters dead....Soooooooooo sad to see Sun and Jin go Ahha I knew that Locke wasn't paralised by his father... I suppose he got his own back really in the alternate reality for all the terrible things his father did to him. Man I looooove the look on Locke's face when he's mad Hahaha I loved seeing those bear cages again and Sawyer refusing to go in. I was really hoping he'd get some fish biscuits for everyone
