Most people’s summer plans involve travel, beach time and some extra sleep, but for True Blood star Carrie Preston and her husband, Lost actor Michael Emerson (a.k.a. Benjamin Linus!), this summer is going to involve some serious doggie training time.
“We just got a dog,” Preston told PEOPLE Tuesday night at the Victoria’s Secret “What Is Sexy?” Party in L.A. “We rescued him, so we’re not really sure exactly what he is, but he seems like a poodle and Maltese mix.”
Named Chumley, for a famed old speakeasy in New York City, it sounds as if the tiny pooch is already working his way into his parents’ hearts. Says Preston, “We are just so enjoying being together and having this little family.”
