Who was Michael's first wife?

In the interviews I've read, he never mentions her by name. She was a Florida native, I gather. He left NY and moved there because of her.
She was impatient with his inability to earn even "half a sensible person's living" in the acting biz.
He has wondered aloud how "mixed couples" (those who are not in the same profession, in his case acting) manage their marriages.
