I just found out, thank you "google alerts" hehehe
This is tough, I love them both, but if anything, I'd love to see Michael taking the award home.
Also, although lots of people thought that Nestor Carbonell deserved a nomination for "Ab Aeterno", I'm really not surprised he's not in the list. Not being mean, I just always thought that while Nestor is a good actor, he wasn't at his best in that episode.
I'm sad because Josh Holloway did improve a lot over the years and he never got a nod.. Oh well, I'm sure he'll get one eventually, he's young and talented and I'm sure he'll just keep improving.
anyway, GO MICHAEL!!!!

Let's handicap Bocke's competiton:
Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad: A newcomer last year, and now he's probably the favorite other than Bocke. Him and his show have only grown in stature for critics this past season. The Emmys have already given Bryan Cranston two Best Actor awards, and might give him a third, so they could want to get to Paul soon. Martin Short, Damages: Yet again, our guys have to battle a big name from Damages. I know it sounds strange to have wacky Martin Short fill that slot this time, but it isn't that out of place. Probably a longshot compared to Bocke and Paul, but one not to sleep on. Andre Braugher, Men Of A Certain Age: A very well respected veteran on a TNT dramady with low ratings, but with critical love. Like Short, probably a longshot, but one that could pose a threat with some momentum. John Slattery, Mad Men: Here for the third straight year, but he didn't pose a threat the last two years, and likely won't now.
All in all, it's probably a race between Bocke and Aaron Paul. Yet this would be a prime spot for a Lost guy to win as a farewell to the show, since it may not win in the other major categories. But between Michael and Terry, I suspect some would favor Terry, given what he did this year and that Michael already won last year.

I actually have a feeling that our guys will not win.

If they don't, then they will end tied 1-1 for Emmys on Lost. Perhaps it's more fitting that way.

I think Edith is right about Michael. When you think of it, as talented as they both are, outside "Dr. Linus," the role of Ben was clearly a secondary one. Fan love elevated it, but he was clearly not one of the main players. But O'Quinn however, really did have a major role, and he did great. A danger statue for a man who played a dangerous character.
I think "Lost" has a good chance this year simply because it's over. There is a tendency to lionize the dead, so to speak, on awards shows.
