Finally listened to the CNI One Shot podcast with Michael. More than an hour and an half of Michael's very erudite, unprepossessing reflections about the show. Must have recorded before the news about NBC picking up the O'Quinn-Emerson show, because Michael alluded to it, but didn't confirm. But I have to say that it was poignant. I remember the very first podcast Michael did with CNI. Podcast no. 42, if I'm not mistaken, and I remember how giddy I felt about getting more about the actor behind the character than the few minutes on entertainment shows. I had just learned about him and had just become smitten with his work. And he was so genuine and unguarded. It was refreshing to get something that wasn't so canned. And now with Podcast 296, it's over. And I can't believe it's been more than four years later. He's still genuine but perhaps a little more practiced at his answers and a touch protective of the "Lost" franchise. Understandable, but a tinge regrettable Will be interesting to see what's next, but the JJ Abrams show demonstrates to me that for the time being, there is an interest in his work. Michael's audition rejections notwithstanding..

I listened to both podcasts today. Michael's answers to his fan questions are so damned intelligent and thoughtful!!! Such a lovely guy. I hope I get to meet him one day, if only for a moment. I love, love, love his answer to the time travel question - that he would choose to sit in a tavern and simply listen to Shakespeare and Burbage discuss a play, any play, of Shakespeare's. Best. answer. ever!!!!
