Although May 23 is almost over, I was able to remember that it was the anniversary of the Lost finale just in time. It is almost fitting that as we now gear up for Michael's return to TV, it is now the anniversary of when Ben Linus left for good- or rather, stayed behind for a while as everyone else left. But exactly one year ago right now, we were still a few hours away from seeing it.
Some highlights from what we saw a few hours later.

No. 3 is the most amazing scene ever. It just kills me!! Ditto. Still kills me. Last year I was so distracted by the finale that I forgot it was my parrot's birthday. LOL I remembered this year! But was still thinking about Lost, too. Got a kick out of Damon's 4 8 15 16 23 42 tweet. |

This year I tried to recreate when I saw the Finale last year. As the Finale went out Live across the world it meant that here in the UK would get it at 5 AM so I had to set my alarm. So on the 24th May this year I stayed up again and watched the Finale at 5am just as I did a year ago and still cried just as much lol! :-)

What a fabulous idea!!! I thought I was going to re-watch the finale as well, but I think I'd rather start from the beginning and work my way up to it. I really want to get the full story all over again and see how all the pieces fit together, with the benefit of hindsight. I say, on the 2-year anniversary we watch it all together in a Live Rewind party!!!!  |

What a fabulous idea!!! I thought I was going to re-watch the finale as well, but I think I'd rather start from the beginning and work my way up to it. I really want to get the full story all over again and see how all the pieces fit together, with the benefit of hindsight. I say, on the 2-year anniversary we watch it all together in a Live Rewind party!!!! I have to say before I saw the Finale I really thought as soon as i'd watched it i'd immediately go straight back to the beginning and rewatch them all but I didn't feel that way oddly. It's just over a year and for the last month I have really really been craving to have a big rewatch so hopefully i'll do that soon.  Wow I love that idea of watching it at a live rewind party although we might have to make our computers waterproof Lol!   |

I'm on my second re-watch. I finished the first re-watch, then thought, "What am I gonna do now? Might as well start over again."  I enjoy the show so much more having seen it from beginning to end than I did the first time around. |

I can't wait for a rewatch, but am trying to work my way through Supernatural until I'm caught up, and then I have Vampire Diaries in my queue. I have a hard time letting Lost jump the queue when those Winchester boys give me such lovely romantic dreams at night!!!  |

I just finished "Dave" on my rewatch. I have been through Season 1 (obvvy). I am trying to let myself experience almost as if it were the first time around. I try to remember how I started with downloading the pilot and then went on the epic run of sleepless nights of watching eps on my iPod until I had caught up with things. I believe the first "live" episode was "One Of Them." It's odd to think of how I felt so ADDICTED. So much as happened between 2006 and now. Yegods. It seems a lifetime ago. iPhones and iPads were even out then. HD TV was a minor threat. It seemed like a much simpler and easier time, and it was only FIVE YEARS AGO!
