The man's intellect still astounds me. JMO, but putting "LOST" in the philosophy colloquium might be a case of overthinking it, but Emerson clearly held his own and at times, tried to put it in perspective. It is, after all, a TV show, not a discourse on Thomas Aquinas, Lao-tzu or who have you. Especially since I still hold to the view that the writers/runners more or less went splat at the very end. But it is worth spending the time listening just to pick up some of the anecdotes and stories from the set.
