"Reese and Finch race to save a hotel maid’s life but find themselves surrounded by more suspects than they may be able to eliminate when they realize any guest or staff member could be her potential killer. Meanwhile, Detective Carter weighs a major offer from the FBI. " personofinterest.wikia.com/wiki/Booked_Solid

Yeah, I sort hated to vote Ho-hum, because there were tiny bits of teases of better things to come. But I guess that my overall feeling about this ep was that it was okay but not all the great. I have been known to completely miss some things (see below), so I'll allow that maybe something went passed that I should have glommed onto. My problem is that the best stuff was in the momentary flashes that suggest something else is also going on or something more wicked this way will come. Actually there were only two I can think of. Zoe's unexplained appearance at the hotel. I don't think she was actually helping Finch or Reese, nor was she helping the Serbians. I wonder if she was up to something that will be explained in a later ep.
Root showing up at the last minute. I knew it was her just by the way she stood waist down in front of Pennsylvania Two.
This is the part that I missed. If you are hip to computer coding then you know about the blue screen thing. Apparently there were three of them, and I missed them all. These are things written in ASCII hexadecimal code. If you are conversant in that language and love puzzles, it will be a hoot for you to decode. Here is more of an explanation about that: Code explanation. You know, that stuff is interesting, but it's certainly beyond me so I'm not so sure I want to obsessively decode screen grabs. The solutions are given in the Person of Interest Wikia pages for each ep and it is interesting. Apparently there were blue screens last week. The ep also lacked flashbacks and Bear, both of which I love.
