I loved it, but I've been hearing grumblings about it. Many fans are disappointed. I thought the show hit a new high myself, but then I wasn't dying to see Finch, Reese or even Bear all that much. I'm keen to see the story play out, and I thought we got lots of nuggets from this show.

I didn't know what to make of it, honestly. But then I've missed 3 episodes this season (no DVR, and thanks CBS for not putting full episodes online) so I end up getting confused anyway. Now that I've thought about it a little, I'm going to go with "liked it". Dedicating an episode to something other than constant Reese action is not a bad thing--it forced me to think about the bigger picture and all the off-shoot issues that the Machine has caused; it makes you think about how there's so much more they can do with the storylines instead of "oh, another guy's going to get thrown through a window this week!" It's episodes like this that give Person of Interest extra staying power and make it stand out from procedurals.
