Dear Friends
I would really appreciate some advice. As it is one of those special birthdays this year, I would like to send Mr. E a present. I sent a letter to him last September to the New York address that has been posted here and elsewhere. So far, I have had no reply. I know there is no guarantee of that and obviously the man is very, very busy, but I would like some reassurance from others that the address is a viable one before I send anything.

If you can help, it would really be great. Thanks so much.

The real problem is - there can never be a guarantee whatsoever no matter what address you use. And I am not the kind of person to send fanmail to actors, etc. so I can't speak of experience, sadly. Do you have tumblr? Some weeks ago someone posted an address that's apparently recent and working (and apparently for ALL of the POI cast - just insert the name of the actor you want to contact). But I didn't save/reblog it as I have no use for it myself. But well, search the "Person of Interest" and/or "Michael Emerson" tag and you will probably find it sooner or later.

Michael Emerson has more emotional depth in the characters he plays than most people have in real life.
He deserves the utmost respect.

I can't say I've used them myself, but I just contacted Edith and she says the addresses listed on michaelemerson.net/?page_id=742 are current, so I'm thinking he got your last letter and just hasn't had a chance to reply. Then again, you never know what the USPS is doing!
