I forgot a friend's birthday because of the Lost finale, hahahaha. Now every May 23rd I think of that as well as the actual finale!  I'm coming up to The End in my latest rewatch, but as much as I love it, I'm always reluctant to watch it. Still very emotionally charged to me. |

Wow, now that's dedication  Well, as for me...the finale is mostly emotionally charged for me because I dislike it so much lol  I probably said this before but for me the only redeeming quality is that they didn't kill off Ben like 5 minutes before the end. Looked pretty close, though, with the tree and all. |

Oh man, I would've been so pissed if they killed him with that tree!
I totally get the people who were disappointed with it...I've read ideas fans had for better endings and they make the whole "we're in a Limbo-type thing and now we're going into a church and walking into the light" deal seem pretty lame. I think what helped me was I didn't have any expectations going into it, and was more into the characters of the show than the mythology, so I was kind of open to anything. I wasn't as dedicated a Lostie then as I am now, ironically!

Yep, that would have been an extremely cruel way to die. Don't wanna think about it really... Guess Michael acting Ben's last words would have made me cry my eyes out for hours. Just thinking about it...so much nope on top of nope. Really glad that didn't happen!
As I said, I went into the whole sixth season with so much expectations words can hardly describe it. The fifth season is for me still the absolute best to ever have graced my tv screen. And you can imagine how my jaw dropped to the floor further and further with each episode of season 6. At the final episode I was just like "you can't be serious" Sigh.
