I wanted more. It was one of my faves of the stories he read.

You can't get "All The King's Men" in UK iTunes? I think that's 25 hours all Michael all the time, and IMO, it outranks "Amalgamation Polka," which isn't bad, mind you.

My local library has nothing, unfortunately. I've only heard Gaiman's Murder Mysteries and a bit of Patterson's Four Blind Mice.

Just tried searching again and iTunes says no match They do have limited Gaiman though- but it appears he himself narrates them

Here's a link that I found: audibleNow, I don't know whether it works for England. Aside to Steph, our agreement is still standing. This is for other people's benefit.

My local library has nothing, unfortunately. Aw, that sucks; I wish mine had everything Michael's done.

Deepest sympathies to UK iTunes customers that "All The King's Men" is not available there. That is sheer injustice and cruelty. However, I must correct myself. It is 20 hours plus of nothing but Emerson's wonderful melodic voice, but in so many different characters that often I find myself caught up in the story and forgetting that it's him. Sacrebleu!

I really loved All The King's Men. If Michael was younger I think he would make a great Jack Burden. This isn't my normal type of novel so I'm really glad he read it as I most likely would never have read it.

His reading of that book gave me an appreciation for the genius of Robert Penn Warren. I'd heard that man's name all my life, but never read any of his work except for a fragment of a poem or two. But it's clear from the audiobook why he won the Pulitzer for this novel.

There's something on youtube using Lost footage overdubbed with excerpts from Four Blind Mice - it seems really strange to hear Michael using language like that!
