Time to confess. The more embarrassing, the better! You know you're a Michael Emerson fan when... ... you see your dad wearing a striped shirt, and automatically think of this: (They were pretty similar, those two shirts ) ... you dream about meeting Michael for three nights in a row. ... you're willing to wade through over 70 pages of Google results to find new or good information about him.

... you talk to his pic all the day hoping that he'll answer something. ... you watch Lost 2nd season and can think nothing but "Hey.. What a bore! When is one of them gonna air???" (2nd season started 2 weeks ago here in Italy... ) ... you're planning your next holiday to Honolulu and that's not for the beautiful landscape.

... you're watching some movie only because you want to see Michael for 5 minutes.
... you're looking around your room and see his pics .
.... you're falling asleep and think that you want to see his face when you'll wake up.

Definitely, me.

-You buy a birthday cake that says, "Happy Birthday Michael" on the same day as Michael Emerson's birthday and celebrate it.
-You celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the first moment you laid eyes on Michael and refer to it as your "One Year Anniversary" that you friends and family know about and celebrate with you.
-You make dolls of his characters
-You make pillows to accomadate his photos
-You make a collage (NOT A SHRINE) of his photos from different things. And You are thinking of making a collage for every single show he's been on to hang in your office also. (You know...just because you're a fan)
-When people at school are asking, "Is that your boyfriend" and pointing at your folder with 6 photos of Michael on it...
Yes, there's more, but I'm really too embarrassed to say anymore.

You draw 100s of pictures of fanart
You write 100s of stories of fanfiction
You rip people's faces off and spit salt in the exposed tissue when someone disses him
Your mother begins to worry that you maybe distorting reality from TV (true story on my part)
You would rather watch and drool over Michael on TV or in a movie, than Brad Pitt or Jake Gyllenhal like most females.
You daydream about your adventures with Ben Linus ALL DAY LONG (partially tue for me)
You cuss when the camera cuts to Jack or some other character, then squeal with delight when Michael is back on the screen.

(Jake Gyllenhal is ok) You daydream about your adventures with Ben Linus ALL DAY LONG (partially tue for me) You cuss when the camera cuts to Jack or some other character, then squeal with delight when Michael is back on the screen. That's so true. Since Michael is on Lost I just wanna see him ;D

Absolutely me, too ;D
- when you watch all Benry episodes once a day and press the stop button just to watch his face for the next three hours.
-when you tell your parents that you don´t need your old wallpaper anymore, cause you made one of Mike´s pics.

Hahahaha the wall paper bit is great! The whole pausing to stare at his face is ABSOLUTELY TRUE for me. Ok....here are some more..... When watching a Benry episode, the pause button is your new best friend.....he helps you to gaze dreamily into his magnetic eyes....... You rewind a Benry scene 50 times before moving on with the rest of the episode.... When someone asks you if you have a "significant other".....and you snicker...... You work at a department store and you are folding pants...only to pause and giggle because you are handling Ben's type of pants.... (GUILTY AS CHARGED) When you yourself begin to talk to people all slow, creepy and condescending...trying to refrain from blinking. When you look at Harry Potter and scream that he stole Ben's glasses!!!! When your creative writing teacher asks you to write a poem about beauty and you write about Michael ;D

When your creative writing teacher asks you to write a poem about beauty and you write about Michael ;D I love you people. I'm sorry that people are asking if he's your boyfriend, ashlibrooke The truth hurts, doesn't it? A few more for me: You find yourself planning to someday move to, or at least visit New York, in part just to be a place Michael has been and loved. (And in the actual event of going there, would beforehand make notes about theatres he's acted at/attended, streets he's walked down , etc. Was creeped out to learn I once stayed in the same town where his parents live (Grinnell, IL). So close! If it didn't approach/practically become stalking, I swear I would've looked them up in the phone book or something. (Oh - and as far as being creeped out? I saw The Coast of Utopia - Part 3 listed in The New Yorker's theatre section, and got chills. Michael said in an interview he attended Part 1.) Oh, oh - *blushing* - I've at various times decided to, say, have a sandwich to eat for lunch, or to go to the gym, because those are things I have read Michael does. *hides*

-when you chain your friends and force them to watch Benry episodes and Mike pics for three weeks, because they just won´t understand he´s the best man in the world. But you know it´s for their own good!

- when someone borrows your mobile phone and you have to explain who the cute man on the display is.. - when you wake up very early in the morning only because The Practice is on air and you don't want to miss Mr. Hinks goes to town.. - when you try to convert anyone you know to the M.E. religion.. - when you begin to make italian subtitles for C.I.-Phantom only because you would like your mom to watch the eppy, but want to hear Michael's voice all the time.. - when you drive alone in your car and don't turn on the radio, for you're too busy performing your own version of "he was dead already.." trying to persuade the steering wheel that you are not one of them.. ---> I LOVE THIS THREAD!

You are trying to convince your husband to wear his hair straight up and texturized. When hubby is buying new glasses, you keep suggesting the rounder frames. You buy him lots of stripped shirts. Your adult son pats you on the head and calls you a sad fan girl. All of this is wonderful!!!!! I love the fangirl bit
