We are making the trip to Florida, and guess where we're landing. Yep, in Jacksonville. I have no idea why I'm excited - likely the only time we'll have to breathe there is before flying back. So nothing Michael-y (unless I embarrass myself by doing something like calling the theatre he used to act at and asking if anyone there knows him/has worked with him. ) So, more to the point, are any of y'all out that direction? (north and central Florida) My family will likely be scared of you if you are (and well they should be ), because it's the old-school "You're meeting someone you met ONLINE?!", etc. etc. But I could convince them. And if you do turn out to be some creepy stalker man, my dad will beat you.

So I take it there are no Floridians here (or y'all are just in the closet ;D)? That is a thought... I do have a new digital camera! Maybe *whispers* I'll sneak one of myself in there. What was that? I think it was the wind. Either that or my brain making noises. Anyone else planning a trip or something cool for the summer? And thanks for all the well-wishes.

It's being rescheduled to October. We're sick. My mom, for one, has a head cold and sinusitis, which is murder to fly with.

Good luck on your trip, even if it is being deferred. Anyone else planning a trip or something cool for the summer? I'll be in Singapore to catch the RSC's King Lear. Yes, it doesn't make much sense to fly halfway across the world just to catch and play, and that's not what we're doing. ;D Singapore is shopping-heaven for small people, if you must know! And then after that we're off to Brunei, where my dad has some business to settle... As a theatre buff (who is most terribly ashamed to admit that he has never once been to the theatre), I am very, very excited about seeing KING LEAR. ;D My first theatre experience - I hope it'll be great.

Not of me, I hope!
I wonder if I could sneak my camera in to the theatre and snap a few shots of Sir Ian... unfortunately, my blasted camera pours forth this annoying flood of red light whenever I try to take a picture in a dark surrounding...

I'll be in Singapore to catch the RSC's King Lear. I believe my brain has just imploded with jealousy. You bastard.

Now, now, petty name-calling won't get you a ticket there either...

It may not be Michael, but at least you get to see another actor who also has big time credibility on stage and in sci-fi stuff[give it time and Michael should be in two major movie trilogies soon enough too, though]

Exactly. And... Ian's been on my fav. actor list before I even knew Michael exists, hehe.
Well, all right, I prefer Michael to Ian now, for some reason. Maybe it's because Michael is my obsession for the moment.

I think if Michael would know about this thread, he'd die of jealousy. Sir Ian, King Lear, Oh my.

Didn't he say in an interview that he wanted to do roles like King Lear when he got older?

Didn't he say in an interview that he wanted to do roles like King Lear when he got older? Yes. That is why I said that he'd be jealous. His dream role is King Lear.
