Someone mentioned today that Michael probably played a not so villaneous Claudius in Hamlet. Right on the nail: Here's the review: The entire review is here: www.curtainup.com/hamletnj.html

Hi, Shakespeare stands and falls with the actor who play one of his characters, there is a high level in playing them and I´m sure Michael could catch the fire within, with proposition of his work, after all the actor have to breast the waves of Kenneth Branagh, Ian Mac Kellen or Patrick Stewart for example. Every actor with standard in Hollywood tried on, but everyone who is fit knows Michael is an exception after playing Oscar Wilde. So we have to wait and enjoy, the American more than the others, but that`s destiny greetings Martina

I´m sure Michael could catch the fire within, i love the way you put this Martina! playing a shakespeare character certainly does require a lot of skill. the language certainly requires passion lol and im sure Michael did justice to the wonderful character that is Cladius whilst leaving his trademark on it

Claudius is a part tailor made for Michael, although he had less of a success rate with his mastermind plans than Ben or Hinks. I'd probably pay good money just to hear Michael deliver Claudius's Act 3 monologue where he tries and fails to repent

Hi,
it`s a wonderful dream because his voice will make you a goose skin, keep the dreams comes true and resonate, for the rest of your life.
This is when you in tough with theatre. Or with someone who can carry this. Someone who can identify with the the role, or the audience.
Michael is this one, for no one a surprise, isn`t it?
Martina
