From The Tailsection: "Monday, I will be sitting down for a chat with the sultan of sinister, Michael "Benry" Emerson! Again I'm looking for question submissions, but this time there is a twist I think everybody will like. Submit your questions through the comment system. When either we have 100 distinct questions, or it is Sunday morning the 11th, I will place all the questions into a big honking poll. The top three questions will be asked, regardless of what they are. (Obviously, if they are disrespectful or profane, they won't be asked.) ..." www.thetailsection.com/submit-your-questions-for-mich.php*pouts* So they're all supposed to be Lost/Ben questions? I hope I'm not alone in being more interested in Michael than the characters he plays. (Also - I'm confused how it is that the top 3 questions are chosen. Are they the last ones submitted?) Hmm. I wonder if Michael, our intellectual, will use perfect grammar, etc. online. Interesting!

Cool! I posted my 2 questions, one for the show and one for Michael personally in case they are only taking show related questions! Plus the majority of the questions are very good! So most of my questions were already up! Hee...

hey that's great! some good questions have been asked already. but, my questions are a bit inappropriate as all you Michael-obsessed people can imagine, so...i guess i'll leave it up to other non-obsessive people. ;D
also, i guess they're going to choose the best 3 questions.

Sailornova, Michael has confirmed - as has ABC - that Locke and Henry will have scenes together, very soon. You can read about it in the latest posts on the "spoilers for S3" thread. (btw - I hope he's asked your first question! ;D )

It's better.. ;D Anyway, I've already asked my top "ask-able" questions in my fan letter... I want to be a man of faith and trust that he will answer directly to me! Thanks for posting, henryrocks!

Here are my questions:
I have 3 questions:
(1) After LOST is over, will you go back to your roots, namely, live theater or will you try to find a good comedic movie to star in?
(2) You have loads of fans all over the world. Are you considering the possibility of performing on stage in one or maybe a few countries? From my understanding, you have numerous adoring fans who live in the countries that once composed the Soviet Union who would love to see you perform your magic on live theater.
(3) Would you want to do another TV show once LOST is over?
and
I have a few more:
I saw you in Jumping Off Bridges. I was utterly surprised to see you as a nice and vulnerable person.
I loved your characterization of this devastated man, who not only lost his daughter and his wife, but was on the verge of losing his son. How did you prepare for that role? Was the bathroom scene where so much of your emotions had to be displayed difficult to play? Do you ever feel drained of your emotions once your plays or scenes are over?
Very few of us, if any, are privy to your earlier works (the ones you did before your MFA), do you attribute the quality of your work to be enhanced by going through the masters' program?
Lastly, did you always feel that you wanted to be an actor? Or did you have another career in mind? If so, what was it?

Here are my questions: Lastly, did you always feel that you wanted to be an actor? ;D Great minds think alike... I'm "rb" a couple posts above, and asked the same question. I'm embarrassed about how long mine is, but - this is probably the closest I'll ever get to the guy, and think they're good questions! My favorite is, "Which do you prefer: Dostoevsky or Stephen King?" A telling question, I think.

Some, there is no way he could answer: Ben's history, island history, etc. I have loads of questions that I could ask him. They all have to do with his craft. I love his acting and I loved to know about his techniques.

Welp, the deadline has passed - now it's time to vote! www.thetailsection.com/the-michael-emerson-question-p.phpI'm thinking - maybe all of us should go Survivor-style and vote on the same one, try to get it chosen. Really hard to choose, though. EDIT- Wow, I'm disappointed with the people who've already voted. It doesn't look like anyone took the time to read all the questions; they just voted for the first one that sounded okay. I guess we should have tried to get ours in earlier.

What bothered me about a lot of the questions was that many of them he cannot answer. He is not the writer, creator, or the producer of the show. And if he knew the answer, he cannot divulge it. Here's a great opportunity to ask him great questions about his craft and only a few did it.

Or it's stuff he's already answered, or it'd be easy to guess what he'd say.
Have you voted yet? Has anyone? Should we still vote together?
Also, the guy makes it sound like this is the second time they're chatting with Michael. I don't remember a first. Anyone have a link?

So we aren't all voting together? (not to be annoying ;D) (and what one did you choose, esbaker?)
