"DAD" screamed alex to ben, but ben was already out the building and was gone, he either was ignoreing her or he didn't just hear. alex slumped on the floor, "GOD I HATE HIM" shes screamed and put her hand in her face. sophie sat down next to her on the ground.
"im sure you don't mean that" said sophie.
"grrrrr but he makes me sooo angry, he doesn't trust me. he hates my bf...............karl" suddenly a smiled formed on alex face when she mentioned his name.
"don't all dads do that know" chuckled sophie
"did yours?" asked alex, sophie looked away and then looked back at alex
"i never really knew my father." she mumbled.
"oh.........i never knew my mother, she died" sighed alex
"im sorry to hear that." said sophie
"it's fine. it's not like i ever met her" said alex. sophie got up from the ground and wiped away the dirt and dust of her trousers, she thought it was best to change the subject.
"so you wanna help me fix this place up?" asked sophie.
"not really" mumbled alex
"ok...........but i thought if you helped me, maybe i can help you" smiled sophie
"what do you mean?" asked a curious alex
"i praise you up to your father, maybe he might regain his trust with you?" said sophie, alex sat there and thought about it.
"then maybe he might let me see karl" alex said with a beaming smile.
"deal?" asked sophie offerning her hand to shake,
"deal!" said alex shaking sophies hand.

sophie and alex both left the empty building, and both headed back to their homes, they had arranged a time to meet the next morning. sophie thought alex was a sweet girl. "maybe she needed some one like myself around" sophie thought in her mind. as she watched alex go back into her house, she only lived next door to sophie.
sophie went up the porch steps and opened her front door as she saw another girl in the house..........................

"Here ya go!"said Juliet as she placed the plaster on charlotte´s finger.Suddenly they heard the door open and Ben walked into the room.
"Charlotte the others ones have arrived if you would please welcome them!"he said."She´s helping me with the cake right now!"said Juliet and got up.
"I´m sure you are able to go on making the cake alone!"he said and stared at her."Sorry!"whispered Charlotte and got up quickly.
"Juliet!"said Ben ,smirked at Juliet for a sec and walked away.
"They´re all in there!Zoe, Liam and Sophie!"he mentioned as she walked beside him.Charlotte didn´t say anything."You know your job!"he said as they arrived at the little house.She nodded but rolled her eyes when he walked away."Knock knock"she said and opened the door.
"Hi Charlotte!"smiled Sophie who sitting at the table in the kitchen."I heard we have two new housemates!"charlotte grinned and looked around.

Zoe was leaning against one of the kitchen counters when Charlotte walked in. She beamed at Sophie as she came in, Zoe could tell they were already aquainted.
"Hi Charlotte!" Sophie had smiled at her.
"I heard we have two new housemates!" Charlotte had grinned, looking around. Zoe walked over to her.
"Hi Charlotte, nice to meet you. My name's Zoe. Just came over from England. Have you been here long?" Zoe asked brightly, offering her hand to shake.

"Hi there," the middle-aged man said. "My name is Tom, I was sent by our leader Ben to speak to you."
"Oh, okay. Hi," Liam replied. "What did you want to say?"
"You see that house over there?" Tom said pointing across the village. "That's mine. We need you to meet us there tomorrow morning."
"What time?"
Tom chuckled, "We don't work to strict times. Come over whenever you wake up."
"Okay, great," Liam smiled. "What are we gonna be doing?"
"Training," Tom replied simply. "Get a good night's rest, I'll see you in the morning."
"Yeah, sure thing," Liam replied as Tom turned to leave.
Liam went over to his bag and took out a shirt which he pulled loosely over his t-shirt. He then left his room to see what his new housemate was doing.

sophie was staring at her glass of juice she had poured herself. when a handsome young man walked through into the kitchen, he smiled at zoe. sophie looked up he seemed to know zoe. he then greeted himself to charlotte and then looked over to sophie.
"i've seen you before?" he asked. sophie just looked and smiled.
"im liam by the way....." as he offered his hand to shake. sophie took it.
"sophie" she smiled. "you were in the corridor!" she replied.
"oh yes i remember now" liam smiled back. liam headed for the fridge "im starving" he said opening the fridge door.
sophie finished her drink and headed to her room. she wanted to unpack and settle in her new home. as sophie was putting the last few things into her draws. she was thinking so many new people living in one house. "oh it will be fun" she thought in her mind, as she closed the draw and sat on her bed. this was the first time sophie had been away from home, so all this was new to her. she was already missing home..........

"Great pizza!"said Liam ."It´s not much!"mentioned Charlotte but he had already taken it out of the fridge and sat down at the table.
"So why are you here?Let me guess, a new life?"grinned Charlotte.Zoe laughed."Exactly.What about you?How long have you been here?"she asked and walked around in the kitchen.
"Oh only for a week.I´m a newbie too!"smiled Charlotte."That´s cool!"replied Zoe and checked the cupboards."Hey look we´ve got raclette set!"she laughed.
"Yeah they pretty much have everything here!"said Charlotte.
"So what we doing now?"asked Liam who obviously had finished eating.

"Well, I need to find where my stuff is, I need my laptop, to check my emails." Zoe replied, then she couldn't believe she was about to request the next thing. "Do any of you guys know where Ethan is? I need to see him"
"He'll probably be in the games room." Charlotte replied walking over to the window and pointed outside. "Right over there in that building!"
"Thanks." Zoe replied, "I'll be right back. Sorry, I should stay here first for a bit, but this is kina really important to me." Zoe added apologetcially as she left the house.

Liam watched Zoe leave, wondering why she would have to see Ethan so soon. He offered Charlotte a slice of pizza before continuing to eat the rest.
"I think as it's our first night we need to celebrate," Liam said as he finished the last slice. "We should have a party!"
"Okay, sure," Charlotte replied.
"Great," Liam smiled. "You get the alcohol and I'll go tell Sophie."

sophie was laying on her bed looking up at the ceiling when liam knocked on her door. "can i come in?" he asked. "sure" sophie replied proping herself up on the bed. "you ok?" he asked as he sat down next to her.
"yeah i'm fine, just a bit tired" - sophie
"well thats a shame............because we were planning to have a party. good way to get to know the neighbours huh?" he said looking @ her.
"sounds great" said sophie getting up from her bed and opening her closet to see what she could find to wear. she pulled out a dress and leant it against her body and looked in the mirror. "perfect" she thought in her mind, as she then looked over @ liam, "a little privacy please" she asked. liam chuckled as he got up and opened the door. "looking foward to seeing you in that dress" he said as he walked out of her room.

the party had been going on for a while a lot of people were there from the village, sophie recognised a few people like tom, ethan, richard and alex. sophie started to feel hot with so many ppl round in a not very big house. so she went outside for some air. she sat down on the porch with her glass of wine looking out @ the valleys and jungle that was surrounded around the village.
"beautiful isn't it?" said a man behind her. sophie turned and looked to see, and it was ben standing behind her.

The party was over for several hours now and Charlotte was laying in her bed unable to find sleep.It was a cool party everyone had a blast chatting, drinking, and eating the snacks Juliet had brought.
But now Charlotte was alone again, alone with her thoughts."He´s a fantastic actor!"she said irritated thinking of Ben.The way he had talked to Sophie, joking around.There was a look of indescribable honesty and trustability in his eyes.A look which could make people believe that this man wouldn´t be able to do anyone harm. He had been like this to her too at the beginning.When she had arrived she had been absolutely certain that she would have a great time working with her new boss Ben.But Charlotte got to know his other side, his real one....there was nothing left of his trustability or politeness when he had ordered her to watch over Sophie."to "convince" her to stay!"Ben had said.But Charlotte knew when she looked into his cold eyes that he wouldn´t mind to take drastic action to make Sophie stay!
Charlotte gave a hollow laugh and sighed.Now that she got to know her better, it would be even harder to betray her.She had told her about her dream today."A new life, an adventure, a place where she could work with children, where she could leave her old life behind...." "A dream that had come true for her" Sophie had told her happy not noticing the uncomfortable look on Charlotte´s face and her fast leaving.
She stared at the ceiling, she knew there was no going back."He" would never allow to go.She had no choice, she would have to join the game.....

Zoe tried to enjoy the party, but was made difficult, occasionally twitching, withdrawal symptoms of not having the laptop, not having a daily check in her emails. She had given Ethan the occasional murderous cold glare throughout the party, she couldn't believe he had the nerve to take it from her. She had to be able to use it, to see whether he had made contact with her. She was desperate to know.
Luckily, Zoe was able to cover her real feelings with putting on a convincing happy face. She greeted everyone, and got to know them all a little. She even managed to have a half decent chat with the boss, Ben. She used the oppertunity to find out whether there had been any 'developments' in her frantic search.
"Hi, Mr Linus right?" She asked when she recognised his face.
"Hello my dear Zoe. Please, call me Ben." He had replied softly, smiling at her.
"Nice to finally meet you Ben." She rephrased and smiled back. "Sorry to be so impaitent, but, I need to know. Have you--?"
"No, Zoe, we haven't found him yet. I assure you, we will let you know as soon as we get so much as a glimpse of him, but so far, we haven't found even a trace of where he has been in the last six years. We are working hard, but this type of thing takes time." Ben replied, showing empathy in his facial expressions.
"Oh." Zoe replied, not able to hide the disappointment on her face. Ben laid his hand on her shoulder in a reasurring way.
"We will find him Zoe. I promise." Ben said to her in a convincing tone, Zoe noticed his eyes glanced away from her briefly, she could see he was watching a young girl in her teens, talking to a boy about the same age.. "Excuse me will you? I have to go and talk to my daughter Alex." Zoe nodded and let him walk off. She refilled her glass and downed it before placing the glass in the sink and walking into her bedroom, slumping down onto her bed, staring at the ceiling in the darkness.

Liam woke up with a start and turned slightly to see darkness pouring through the window. His mouth was dry and he drank some water from a glass by his bed. He could feel the warmth and presence of someone beside him in the bed, but as soon as he put his head down again he was asleep.
When he woke the next morning, Liam looked across the bed, but it had been vacated. He rolled back and stared up at the ceiling smiling to himself. He swung his legs from the bed and picked up his boxer shorts. He pulled them on and grabbed a vest to wear, which he hauled on as he left his room.
All the other doors were closed as he walked into the kitchen. He opened the fridge and poured a glass of orange juice before taking a seat to wait for everyone else to wake up.

"i could get use to this" sophie replied with a soft smile.
"may i" ben asked, sophie shuffled along to offer him room to sit down.
"not in the party mood?" he asked as he sat down.
"oh......im not really party person, and whats your excuse?" she asked back ben smiled softly and then looked across at the jungle and replied,
"same, i'd rather enjoy a good book to be honest" sophie took a sip from her glass as ben looked back at her.
"i hear alex is gonna help you tomorrow, she seems pretty excited about it" he said
"yeah, the more help i get the more i can get it running" said sophie.
"you know theres no hurry. Besides it keeps her out of trouble" he smirked.
"you mean karl?" asked sophie, ben didn't look to pleased when sophie mentioned his name.
"that bad huh?" sophie asked taking another sip from her wine.
"not for long" said ben smirking again as he got up and looked down @ sophie.
"coming?" he asked as he started to walk off.
"where?" she asked as she watched him stand outside the house next door.
"my house......, peace and quiet here" he said as he opened his front door and walked in. sophie drank the rest of her wine, and put the glass down as she got up and headed to bens.

It was early dawn when sophie stirred up in bed, hearing the birds singing outside, she opened her eyes and looked up @ the ceiling, she rolled over to her side as she noticed a photo of a younger looking alex. it took her a few moments to realise she wasn't in her room. as she sat up she felt her head thumping from a hangover. she looked across the room and noitced the dress she wore was neatly folded on a chair. she looked at her self as she noticed she was wearing a mans shirt, but still had her underwear on. "oh no" she thought to herself. as she climbed out of bed and headed for the door. she opened it and looked out down the corridor. she started to remember the nite before heading into bens house. "oh sophie you slept with your boss, on your first night here?!?" she asked herself in thoughts. she went out the bedroom and headed for the kitchen as she saw ben sitting at the table drinking some coffee.
"hi" sophie mumbled
"good morning, how you feeling?" he asked pouring her a cup, sophie went over and sat on a chair.
"my head hurts" she said,
"im not surprise you had two bottles of wine to yourself" he chuckled and gave her the cup of coffee.
"we didn't.........you know?" she asked while ben took a sip of his coffee which he nearly spat it out from what sophie just said.
"no." he said, sophie felt relieved as she smiled and drank her coffee
"sorry, i just wasn't sure" she blushed.
"you were saying you were tired, so i gave u an old shirt to wear and the next thing i know you crashed out on the bed" he smiled.
"oh" said sophie still blushing

half an hour later sophie got changed back into her dress and gave ben his shirt back she then said bye and as he watched her walk back to her's. as she sneaked back into her home and headed back into her room. she looked over her @ her clock as it was only 4:45 am she thought to herself "few more hours of sleep should help my head" as she got changed and climbed back into bed........

At 6 o´clock in the morning Charlotte gave up and decided to get up because she definitely wouldn´t be able to fall asleep again.Putting on her favorite t-shirt, it was white and had a cute red flower on it, and jeans she ogled the deep shadows under her eyes in the little mirrow she had brought from home.She sighed at the thought of her home and put away those thoughts quickly reminding herself that the island was her home now.Putting on a bright smile she walked out of her room into the kitchen.
"Good morning!"smiled Liam."Morning!"grinned Charlotte, grabbed a cup and poured some coffee in it."Had a nice night?"she asked as she sat down at the little table.

Zoe woke up, suprised she had fallen asleep at all. She remembered her dream - a dark room, with a figure sat in a chair. She couldn't see who it was, they had their back to her, and she seemed to be stuck where she stood, and tried call out, but nothing happened.
Zoe got up, got dressed and went into the main living area and into the kitchen to see Liam and Charlotte up. She smiled at them, saying hello and good morning, heading for the fridge, where she took out a bottle of spring water to drink.
