The first idea that comes to mind would be to edit the original post and put a link to the latest chapter.
What you would do is make the first post however you want.
Later, once you've made a new reply with another part of the chain-fic, you would click on the reply's Link to Post button.
This is where that is located (click to see):

That would make the latest reply's URL show up in your browser's URL bar. You would copy that.
Then, go back to your original post, click Modify, and either at the bottom or top, you could write "Chapter 6" or whatever, and put the link there. You can add as many links as you want as more chapters are added.
For example, you could write this...
[b]Next Chapters[/b]
[url= url here]Chapter 6[/url]
[url= url here]Chapter 7[/url]
[url= url here]Chapter 8[/url]
And that would show up in the thread looking like this...
Next Chapters
Chapter 6
Chapter 7
Chapter 8
That's just one idea, though. Someone else might have something better.

the problem was the img code for some reason it had spaces in it [ img ] < like that when it should be
