Well the DVD is pretty exciting, so it deserves being mentioned twice! ;D
That's a great interview with Carrie. It was her first of that type, as she's mostly done radio and print interviews. I thought she was great!
She also just cut a really great DVD bonus feature about the recording of the score, and is now working on one about the Daisy Love recording session. She pretty much does it all, that Carrie P.

I am viewing this movie in about 8 days. I am really excited. I bought my tickets and I am ready to go. I hope to see you there, James.

Next monday the film will be on the screen in the International Gai and Lesbian Film Festival in Barcelona. I don't know if I will go it... www.barcelonafilmfestival.org/ct/ready_ok.htm(In the trailer it's a mistake because the film is not "Ready OK", it's another)

Thanks for pointing that out Silvia. We hadn't noticed. In fact, we were not even sure when our screenings were happening. We've emailed the festival in hopes they can put the correct trailer up. Hope you're able to make it, and enjoy it.
And excited to hear your thoughts Edith! Sadly, I don't think we'll have a representative there this time. Carrie is hanging out with Michael before True Blood starts up again. And I go into rehearsal for a project next week. Sorry we'll miss you. But - hope you have a great time! And thanks for supporting.

I hope to see the film on monday, after my English course. I will write my opinion after the cinema. I'm sure that it's a very good film.

Hi everybody!!! Yesterday I went to the cinema to see "Ready OK". We were only about 40 people (I'm sure that it's because is in the Gay and Lesbian Festival). For me, is a lovely film, about a "serious issue" but with a lot of humour sense. It's tender and fun, Carrie is awsome in his role and the boy is a very good actor (the weight of the film is in his shoulders). And Michael...you know...he play his role so contained, so sweet, so elegant...he's on the screen only in 3 or 4 scenes, but his participation is the key. I hope that you can see the film in the future.

I just saw Ready? OK! tonight in Washington, DC with my family and my sister's friend. It excellent, despite the fact that I missed the first 20 minutes due to horrible traffic. I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out.

I have put Ready? OK! on my netflix que, it should be in this weekend. Also, because I couldn't find where this is talked about, my interlibrary loan dept was able to track down a copy of Jumping Off Bridges and I will also be viewing that this weekend. I'm in Michael Emerson heaven this weekend. Good thing hubby is out of town LMAO

ok, so I got in Ready? OK! in last night.
1st - Michael Emerson, is SO not in that movie enough. His performance, as limited and small as it was, was good. He did what he could w/ as little time as he had. 2nd - Carrie Preston did a fine job. 3rd - overall, in my opinion, the movie itself was lacking something. I can't say I would recommend it personally, but again, just my opinion.
