Day 7 (Night)
Charlie ran into the caves in a panic and marched up to Hurley. They held a whispered conversation, then Hurley walked over to Jack where he stood still embracing Jo and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Uh, dude...I'm sorry to interrupt, but I thought you should know this."
Jack broke away from Jo and looked at Hurley expectantly. "What is it, Hurley?"
"Sophie and Ethan have been missing for a couple days now. Nobody has seen them."
Jack sighed and gave Jo a meaningful look as if this interruption was solid proof that his role as leader among the survivors didn't allow him a personal life.
"We can't do much at night," Jack reasoned. "We'll have to figure out how to deal with this in the morning."

day 7 night
"Hello Sophie." Ben stood infront of her, the crouched down seeing the dry blood on her head. "What happened?" he said touching her head. She winched at the pain, but feeling his touch brought old memories. Shaking that thought away Sophie pointed at Ethan.
"He did!"
Ben turned and glared at Ethan, taking him outside the room.
"I told you not to hurt her!"
"I'm sorry i wasn't thinking."
"Well i suggest you start to concentrate more Ethan. You gonna have to hurry and get back to the beach. If they ask where she is, make up anything. Tell them shes dead." Ethan nodded agreeingly. "Now go and get Claire Littleton." Ben watched as Ethan headed up the stairs. "Oh and Ethan. Don't get caught!"

(What day is it?)
Zoe had heaved all her luggage she had managed to find that belonged to her to the caves and had chosen her spot to sleep. She had returned to the beach occasionally to see how the others were doing. She followed Kate, Jack and Charlie to retrive some water from the caves to take back to the beach for those who choose to remain there. While filling up one of the bottles, she noticed Charlie slink off by himself, looking rather shifty. She raised her eyebrow slightly, and abandoned what she was doing and followed after him, keeping her distance.
She watched from behind a tree as Charlie withdrew a clear bag containing what suspiciously looked like heroin. A slightly suprised, but amused expression lighted on her face, and started to take paces towards him when a voice interrupted the silence that made Charlie feel he was alone.
"Do not move!" Locke instructed Charlie. Charlie looked up at him panically, and Zoe continued to walk onto the scene. She gasped in horror, and realised what Locke was talking about. Charlie was stood on a beehive!
"Look, I was just going to take. . . " Charlie tried to reply, not realising what Locke was talking about.
"Do not move. " Locke repeated sternly.
"Charlie." Zoe called out to him, and she pointed below his feet just as Jack and Kate arrived.
"What's going on?" Jack asked.
"He's stood on a beehive." Locke replied, shushing Jack. Charlie had by now looked down at what he was standing on. Zoe watched as the colour draine from hos face.
"What's a beehive doing there? Beehives are supposed to be in trees." Charlie stammered.
"What now?" Jack asked calmly.
"If he moves, he'll split the hive." Locke explained unhelpfully.
"I don't like bees, okay. I have an irrational fear of bees. I think I'm allergic to bees." Charlie commeted panically.
"Right - so all we need to do is find something to subsitute Charlie's weight? Right?" Zoe suggested.
"I'll go find something." Kate offered.
"I'll come with you." Jack replied and they went off in search for anything that might help.
"Hurry!" Zoe pleaded as she noticed bees that were now landing on Charlie's face. Jack and Kate soon returned, Jack getting to work right away, trying to slide a suitcase over where Charlie stood, but Charlie was getting fidgety and agitated. He slapped at one of the bees that had landed on his face, causing him to loose balance, and the beehive cracked. There was a swarm of bees in an instant, all flying towards them, stinging them. Zoe screamed momentarily before running, Jack and Kate in one direction, she, Locke and Charlie in the other. They stopped when the sound of buzzing ceased, and walked together to head back towards the caves. They could hear voices not too far off.
"Hello? Anybody there? Everyone all right?" Locke called out, just as Jack and Kate came into view - both topless.
"A few stings aside." Jack nodded. He was holding something, Zoe watched curiously as he put whatever they were back into a pouch. It was then she noticed the skeletons.
"You two run away fantastically. Glad my diversion spared you. I was only stung several hundred times. Oh, and uh, someone left this.." Charlie interrupted as he caught up with them, and handed Kate her shirt back.
"It was, um, if was full of bees." Kate explained.
"I'd have thought C's, actually." Charlie replied, grinning dopely. Zoe smirked at him, while Kate give him a significant look that said 'you idiot'.
"Sorry." Charlie replied meekly as Jack chuckled. Then Charlie noticed the skeletons.
"Bloody Hell! Are these the people who were here before us?" Charlie asked. Jack glanced towards Locke, who had done the same to him and took a step closer to examine the skeletons.
"What are you talking about?" Locke asked curiously and Jack shot Charlie and idiotic look whist Zoe simply rolled her eyes.
"Uh, just, you know, the, the, there could have been people here before us, right?" Charlie tried to cover up.
"Clearly. But, who were these men?" Locke asked.
"Actually, one of them is female." Jack interjected.
"Our very own Adam and Eve." Locked mused, smiling.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoe had ben examing her bee stings privately before she rejoined to Kate, Jack and Locke, Charlie in the distance, examining his own.
"Are you offering?" Kate asked as Zoe joined them in mid conversation.
"Yeah, why not? Give me a chance to get to know him a little better." Locke replied.
"I'll stay too." Zoe replied. Jack nodded.
"Okay. Catch you guys later then." He replied and left with Kate through the jungle.
"You don't need to stay you know." Locke said to her.
"I know. But I saw what you saw. I'm here to help too. I went through something similar. I might be of more use then you think." Zoe replied mytseriously, giving Locke a slight smile before walking towards Charlie.

Day 9
Jo glared at Jack again as she rummaged through the medical supplies for something to ease Shannon's asthma. He merely shrugged in response. "For the hundredth time, Jo, I didn't ask Kate to take her shirt off. We were covered in bees, and we panicked. That's the truth."
"Charlie seems to think there's something more to it."
"Well, there isn't," Jack replied. "And jealousy really doesn't suit you."
"You're one to talk, Jack." Jo growled back.
Charlie casually sauntered up to the two of them."You two bickering again? You'd think after Jack almost lost his life in that cave you'd be a little more grateful to have each other."
Jo sighed. "I hate to say it, but...Charlie's right. I'm sorry, Jack. I'm just...edgy. I'm really worried about the tail section survivors."
"I'm sure they're okay," Jack rubbed Jo's back reassuringly. "From what you tell me, they're strong people."
Charlie interrupted their reconciliation. "Claire has been asking for you, Jo. She's a little scared to be on the beach without a doctor nearby."
Jo nodded, and turned to Jack again. "I've been feeling a little uneasy about the situation as well. I'll spend the night on the beach with her. I'll leave Shannon to you and Sun."
"Are you sure you're not going to the beach just to keep an eye on Kate?" Jack teased with a raised eyebrow. Jo punched him lightly on the arm in response, then kissed him lovingly.
"I'll see you later, Jack."
****** Jo unexpectedly bumped into Ethan on her way to the beach, and she was so startled she dropped her supplies. He bent to help her gather them together.
"Where have you been?" she cried. "We've all been really worried! And where's Sophie? Is she with you?"
Ethan shook his head solemnly. "We were exploring, and got really lost. Sophie fell down a cliff...she didn't make it." A single tear slid down Ethan's cheek.
"Oh my God," Jo whispered. "Sophie's gone." She stepped up to Ethan and hugged him. "Where is her body?"
"Unretrievable." Ethan muttered.
"I'm on my way to the beach. Why don't you come with me, and we can talk about a memorial ceremony for Sophie."
Ethan agreed, and they walked together to the beach camp in distraught silence.

Day 9
Zoe had been for a job across the beach before a quick dip in the ocean before she headed back to the caves, finding Charlie in conversation with Jack and Jo - who Zoe hadn't properly met yet. Her eyes remained fixated on Charlie as Jo walked off through the jungle toward the beach. Zoe smiled at her polietly as she walked past, and the smile was returned. She made a mental note to introduce herself properly later. Her main worry right now was Charlie, who sat beside the fire, fiddling with his guitar, looking very edgy, figetting quite a bit. Zoe strolled over to him and sat beside him.
"They say the first two weeks is the hardest." She told him as she sat down.
"Who?" Charlie asked. Zoe laughed a little.
"I read it somewhere." She replied causually. "How's your guitar then? Not damaged at all?"
"No - it's never been finer actually." Charlie replied beaming.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"...Just hand it to me. You're going to run out. My guess is sooner rather than later. Painful detox is inevitable. Give it up now at least it will be your choice. " Locke said to Charlie calmly after he and Zoe staked him out every time he tried to sneak off into the jungle by himself.
"Don't talk to me like you know something about me." Charlie replied stubbornly.
" I know a lot more about pain than you think. I don't envy what you're facing. But I want to help." Locke continued. Charlie snorted and began to walk away. Zoe then noticed Locke look up, and then so did she. Her eyes widened in suprise and glaced back at Charlie, who had his back to them both, still walking away from them. "Do you want your guitar?" Locke called after Charlie suddenly. This worked. Charlie turned round and walked up to him, looking desperate.
"More then your drug?" Locke continued.
"More than you know." Charlie replied darkly.
"What I know is that this island might just give you what you're looking for, but you have to give the island something." Locke continued persuassively. Charlie relucatnly delved into his pocket and handed Locke the drugs.
"You really think you can find my guitar?" He asked hopefully.
"Look up, Charlie." Locke instructed him. Zoe could no longer hide her grin.
"You're not going to ask me to pray or something..." Charlie muttered.
"I want you to look up." Locke repeated. They all looked up. Simultaneously. There was Charlie's guitar. Hanging causually on the cliff above. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I need your help." Charlie said suddenly.
"With what?" Zoe asked.
"Claire. I'm worried about her - staying on the beach. We should try and convince her to come to the caves. It'll be safer. You know...with her being pregnant and what not." Charlie said to her. "Will you help me?"
"Oh...er...I guess so." Zoe replied unconvincgly, luckily, Charlie not noticing. "Erm. I'll be right back. I've just got to..." She trailed off and walked off into the jungle alone. Charlie frowned slightly.
"Bloody loon." He muttered to himself and returned to sorting the strings on his guitar.

Day 7 night
"Its really you!" she whispered struggling to say the words outloud, from nerves and as well as other feelings. Crouching down Ben untied her arms.
"How did you get here Sophie?" Ben asked her.
"Ethan brought me" she said confused as to why he asked an odd question.
"No, you know what i mean!" he raised an eyebrow.
"I don't Ben."
"Did you know that plane was going to crash? Were you invovled with it?"
"What? No! Why are you asking me this?" she questioned back. "I dunno what happen we hit turbalance, and then the plane spilt.." tears started to form in her eyes. "I don't remember much..."
"Do you still work for Charles Widmore?" he asked.
"What?" Sophie snapped, you could see the anger in her eyes for him even asking the question.
"Why would i ever go back to him! You saw what he done to me!" she broke down in tears rocking herself back and forth as she wrapped her arms around her knees, burrowing her face into her knees so he couldn't see her cry.
"Then its coincendence"
"What is?" she mumbled.
"You being here." He smiled making Sophie look up at him. Those feelings she once had blossoming again. "C'mon lets get someone to check your head." he offered his hand. Sophie taking it he pulled her up and walked her out into the village.
Day 9
Sophie was glancing around Harper Stanhope office, looking at all the strange sculptures around in the room.
"Hello Sophie. I'm Harper Stanhope." She walking into the room. "Please sit. Todays just a meet and greet so that we can get to know each other." She smiled, sitting down in her chair, with her pen and folder in her lap. Sophie sat down on the couch.
"I really don't think i need therapy" Sophie said.
"You've just been through a traumatic experience. Ben thought it be a good idea" she said, clicking her pen getting ready to take notes. "We can just talk."
"Ok."
"Good. So you been here for nearly two days. How you finding it?"
"A little strange." Sophie relaxed back in the chair."People seem uncomfortable around me."
"Because they don't trust you" Harper mumbled under her breath.
"I'm sorry?"
"Carry on!" she smiled.
"I'm confused to why nobody is helping the other survivors"
"Sophie surely you know about this place. Were just protecting it. Anyways...... Lets talk about Ben! What do you think of him?"
"He's different."
"In what way?"
"I dunno. I guess im just learning who the real Ben Linus is." She shrugged.
"Of course after all you fell for him when he tricked you into believeing he was someone else. Did he love you?"
"I thought this was a meet and greet?" Sophie questioned back.
"Thats a no then."
"What?"
"You avoided the question."
"He did! He told me."
"Did he ever show you? Get close. Get intimate?"
"No! This is getting to personal! Why all these questions?"
"I'm just trying to work out why you would of loved someone, who never loved you back!"
"You weren't there. He loved me!" Sophie snapped tears pricking her eyes.
"You still love him don't you? After everything that happened, how can you forgive him? The hurt the pain you must of gone through because of him and you still love him why?"
Sophie wiped a tear, "Because Ben is not the monster Charles Widmore makes him out to be. Its Him whos the monster!"
Harper passed Sophie a tissue. "Ok. I think were done for the day." Closing her folder. She stood up, "You can go now!" she said. Sophie got up and went outside.
Ben came through, from another door. "So how did it go?" he asked Harper. "Find anything?"
"No, i broke her down. Shes one of us Ben!"
"Good." Ben smiled looking out the window he watched Sophie sitting on one of the benches.
"And if i was you, I wouldn't be chasing Juliet." Harper said sitting at her desk

Day 9
Zoe took off into the jungle, alone, not caring for Jack's insturctions to not go wondering off by yourselves. She didn't look to him as a leader. She could see he thought he knew what he was doing, but really, he didn't have a choice. Most of the people looked up to him as a leader. But only because he was a doctor. She didn't think that made you a qualified leader, let alone for there to be leadership in general at all.
She had been walking for a long time. Night had fallen and gone twice. She found her own place to sleep. Safe and secluded. It was her seconds night of walking through the jungle alone when she decided to head back. She woke up early and got her bearings, working out the way back. She headed towards the beach and made her way from there, knowing it was the easiest and probably quickest way.
It took about five hours before she became familiar with the beach. She was just approaching the beach camp, barely ten minutes away when Sayid was walking towards her in the opposite direction.
"Sayid?" She called out questioningly to him, noticing a rather large backpack he was carrying on his back. He was obviously planning on going somewhere, and had no plans to return any time soon.
"Zoe! Thank goodness. Do you know they've been looking for you? You just diappeared for two days. No trace. Locke couldn't even track you. Where have you been?" He asked her.
"Oh...just for a walk." Zoe replied sheepishly. "Really...no-one needed bother. I can look after myself."
"Maybe...but the jungle is dangerous. You only have to look at what happened to Sophie as a prime example of that." Sayid replied sternly. And what happened to the pilot Zoe thought to herself.
"Sorry. I didn't think." Zoe apologised. "What about you though? Where are you swanning off to by yourself?"
"I need some time out. I made a big mistake. I need some time by myself to reflect on my life. I'll be alright though." Sayid replied. Yeah, meaning you don't think you'll be as vunerable to danger as I am. Poor old Zoe. Sweet, innocent and defenseless. How little you know about me. She thought bitterly to herself.
"Well...good luck with that. I suppose I better get back and put a stop to everyone's worry." Zoe replied with a forced sweet smile. "Hope to see you soon Sayid." And she walked past him onwards to the beach camp.

Day 10 (Night)
Jo sat in the sand by herself and watched the sun set over the ocean, lost in her thoughts. She was enjoying a rare moment of solitude before heading back to the caves.
She no longer had a reason to camp out on the beach. Charlie had persuaded Claire to move to the caves, and Ethan had accompanied them on the hike back just a few hours earlier. She and Ethan had struck up an easy friendship during her time on the beach, and he shared her concern for Claire's wellbeing. Jo was relieved that Claire and her unborn baby were in good hands.
She stood up and wiped the sand off her jeans. As she headed towards the path to the cave, she noticed Zoe filling her water bottle from the communal supply.
"I thought it was time we met properly," Jo said to Zoe as she stretched her hand out. "I'm Joanna."
"The other doctor," Zoe responded with a friendly smile as she shook her hand. "I'm Zoe."
"You know, Charlie's been asking about you, Zoe. Wondering where you disappeared to."
Zoe sighed. "I just needed to get away for a little while."
Jo nodded. She certainly understood that feeling. "I saw you talking to Sayid earlier. I was hoping you might change his mind about leaving."
Zoe shook her head. "He's got some issues to work through."
"Don't we all," Jo quipped. "I'm heading back to the caves before it gets dark. You're welcome to come with me, if you'd like. I know everyone there will be happy to see you've returned safely, especially so soon after losing Sophie. It's up to you."

Day 11
Zoe had agreed to go with Jo, and they headed back to the caves that night, Zoe residing to where she had set up her camp in the caves after Jack had tried to scoled her for wondering off.
"I'm not a child Jack. I can take care of myself." She replied coldly, changing her tone after a moment. "Sorry. I know you were only trying to help. Just...you don't need to, okay?" She then turned to face Jo.
"Thanks Jo, it was nice meeting you." Zoe thanked her before she had left for her own bed for the night. As she had laid down, a small smile had surfaced on her face. Charlie had asked for her. He had worried about her.
That next morning, Zoe woke pretty early, just after Dawn. She stretched and gazed across camp to notice a new residence. Charlie had managed to convince Claire to move then. She spotted Charlie not so far away, also sleeping still, like much of the others. Locke was one of the few who were awake. He was gathering bits and peices together. Zoe got up and walked over to him.
"What you up to?" She asked him curiously.
"Thought I'd go for a morning hunt." Locke replied, holstering a knife.
"Can I come?" Zoe asked.
"Sure." Locke replied smiling.
"Good. Let me know when you're leaving. I'm just going to get some water." Zoe replied and went to fetch an empty bottle, filling it at the stream, just in time for Locke who was ready to set off. He walked over to her as she screwed the cap back on.
"Let's go." He said to her and she followed him into the jungle, and handed her a knife carefully. "You're gunna need this."
"Thanks." Zoe replied, taking it and packing it gingerly on the belt of her trousers.

Day 12 (night)
Amelia answered the front door. Opening Ben stood on the other side.
"Hello Ben, come in" She said. Heading to the kitchen to turn the kettle on. Sophie was sitting reading a book in the corner of the room. She looked up seeing Ben come in. Since coming to the village she had been staying in Amelia's home.
"Oh no i'm not stopping, I just wanted to borrow Sophie" Ben turned to look at her. Amelia had a grin on her face, like she knew something.
"Oh....." Sophie said. "Ok" shutting her book close she got up and followed Ben outside.
...........................................
"How are you doing? Are you settling in well?" Ben asked as they walked along the paths in the village.
"Yeah....sort off" she smiled. "Although this awkwardness between us ain't helping." she chuckled. Ben smiled too, he stood infront of her.
"I'm sorry for everything."
"Ben don't...." Sophie sighed. "Its in the past...."
Again another awkward slience between. Both probally thinking what happened. But Ben moved and stood outside a empty house.
"Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, washer, dryer. Oh and i made collection of your favourite music."
"What?" Sophie asked.
"This house. Its yours!"
Sophie stood surprised. Going up the porch steps and opening the door.
"Oh ben..." she sighed. She looked around, it was decorated and looked very similar to her old home back in england.
"Why?"
"I want to make you feel at home." he smiled standing behind her.
"Thank you Ben." Not thinking she hugged him and placed a kiss on his cheek. Realising what she done she pulled away blushing.
"Dont mind me." someone spoked behind them Ben turned around.
"Colleen?"
"Goodwin he's contacted us."
Ben turned to Sophie. "Will speak soon." Before heading off with colleen.

Day 12 [Night]
Zoe sat round the campfire with the group of people who had moved to the caves, waiting for some of the food being cook on the campfire that she had managed to capture with Locke yesterday morning. She had spotted Charlie sat with Claire, who were deep in conversation. Jack talking to Jo. Zoe sat next to Hurley, lightly discussing the golf game the boys had been playing earlier with the golf course Hurley had devised on one of the open spread fields.
"So are you going to have a go?" Hurley asked. "At the tornamunt tomorrow?"
"Golfs not really my thing." Zoe replied, sighing lightly, smiling weakly. "Never really got into many sports generally."
"What's up?" Hurley asked.
"Oh...uh...nothing." Zoe replied uncertainly.
"Doesn't seem like nothing....you seem kinda...distracted." Hurley commented.
"No, I'm not. Just....fed up I guess." Zoe replied.
"Then maybe you should give the golf ago...take your mind of things?" Hurley suggested.
"Maybe." Zoe replied doubtfully.

Day 12 (Night)
Jo sat by the fire beside Jack and gently broached the subject that had been on her mind ever since she had found the caves. She gently placed her hand on his knee and looked at him with pleading eyes.
"Jack, don't you think it's time we look for the tail section survivors?"
Jack avoided her gaze and stared into the fire, thinking earnestly for a few moments before facing her. "I don't think it's possible," was all he said.
Jo refused to give up. "We owe it to them, Jack. We owe it to people like Rose - her husband is out there!"
Jack was beginning to get irritated. "You told me you were completely lost when you found the caves. Besides that, we don't even know if they're still camped out on the beach anymore. Without any clues to go on, it just doesn't make sense. Even Locke wouldn't be able to pick up your trail at this point."
"They're in danger, Jack." Jo spoke in a low voice, trying to control her own irritation at Jack's stubbornness. "Three of them were kidnapped on our first night. They might have come back for more..."
"There's nothing we can do about it!" Jack snapped at her.
Jo felt her face turning red. "Then you're not much of a leader, Jack." Jo stood up and stormed away from the fire, feeling disappointed tears sting her eyes. She needed to see Eko and Libby and Goodwin and Bernard, she needed to know that her friends were safe, and she realized she might just have to do it without Jack's help.

"Hey your home early!" Dean said preparing a meal he was making for him and Sophie that night.
"Wasn't feeling very good" she sighed putting her briefcase down and sitting on the chair. "A headache. Mr Widmore thought it was best if i came home."
Dean went into the cabinet getting out two Ibprofen and a glass of water. "Here take these" he smiled crouching down infront of her. Sophie took the water and the pills swallowed them down and took a sip of water.
"Thanks" she sighed. Dean stood up and headed back to the kitchen counter chopping up vegatables. Sophie felt uncomfortable around him. Knowing his real indentiy. Wondering if all of this was an act? Or was it genunie? She noticed some flowers in a vase getting up she went over and sniffed them, smelling the floral fragance she smiled to herself.
"They for me?" she asked. Dean whizzed around and stood behind her wrapping his arms around her.
"Of course." he planted a kiss on her neck and shoulders.
"Hmm" sophie moaned and smiled. "Special occasion?" she asked.
"No......its to show you that i love you."
Hearing those words made her feel sick. So it was time to find out the truth.
"Do you?" she asked pulling his arms away from her and moving away.
"Of course i do. Whats wrong?"
Sophie looked away tears rolling down her cheeks, she wiped them. Dean clearly seeing she was upset wanting to know what was going on. She turned back to face him.
"I know who you are Ben!"

Day 13
Jo found Jack first thing the next morning, after her temper had cooled off overnight. She looked at him sheepishly. "I'm sorry about what I said, Jack. You were right about everything."
Jack pulled her closer and hugged her tightly. "I don't think you understand why I can't let you just go after your friends."
"Then tell me," Jo said softly, looking up into his eyes.
"I can't risk losing you again. You're all I have," Jack replied, then kissed her. She began to lose herself in his kiss when Charlie inconveniently interrupted them.
"Hey, guys..uh, sorry if it's bad timing, but Hurley's all worked up about something, said we should come see it."
Jo and Jack pulled away from each other and grinned happily. "Are you coming?" Jack asked.
"You go on without me - I'll catch up with you a little later." Jo waved him off and watched him leave the caves with Michael and Charlie. She walked away from the caves in the opposite direction and found Locke in the jungle nearby, throwing knives at a tree.
"Hello, Joanna." Locke greeted her warmly before throwing another knife.
"Hi John." She took a seat on a log and watched him. "I have something to ask you."
"Shoot," he responded cheerily.
"I want you to teach me everything you know about the island."
Locke looked at Jo very seriously. "What makes you think I know anything that's worth knowing?"
"You have survival skills that nobody else has."
Locke flung his last knife at the tree before standing up to retrieve them. He knelt by Jo where she sat on the log and saw that she was sincere. "I'll teach you," he agreed, happy to have an apprentice.

Day 13
Zoe woke up early again that morning, as was Hurley, who was all excited.
"Do you want to come help me set it up?" Hurley asked.
"Erm...maybe later. I gotta do something first." Zoe excused herself and walked through the jungle towards the beach, where she had missed being. She noticed the signal fire was still going strong, Sayid was still away like he planned, and people were still milling about the beach. Hopefull people counting on rescue.
Word was spreading quickly about the gold course, and gradually, either one by one, or in groups of two-three, people were disappearing off towards the golf course. Zoe sighed and carried on across the beach, wondering what to do. It was then she spotted Sawyer - well, heard Sawyer.
"Son of a bitch!" He cursed. Zoe came into his view.
"Who's a son of a bitch?" She asked casually.
"Nuthin to fret about sweetheart, am just trying to change my damn bandages." He mumbled.
"Isn't that what Jack is supposed to do?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yer...well I guess I ticked him off a little bit." He replied sarcastically. Rolling her eyes, she crouched down beside him, and seized his arms.
"Here. I'll do them." She inisisted, pitying his tireful efforts with only one hand to try and bandage right arm. Sawyer arched his eyebrows at her ruefulness.
"Wow. Now that's what I like to see. Bit of hands on action." He smirked cheekily. Zoe pressed his wound hard as she bandaged him up purposely, but more in a playful way then to intentionally cause outright pain. He cursed out again.
"That's better." She commented mockingly to him, battering her eyelashes at him innocently. "Now, behave yourself!"
"Who are you? My mother?" He asked, trying to put on a serious tone, which she saw right through, making her grin. "And whatcha smiling at?"
"Nuthin." Zoe replied, and gazed back at the beach, which had very few people scattered about now.
"Is it true? That no-one likes me here?" Sawyer asked her. Zoe shot him a significant look and he beamed with pride.
"That's the problem though. It's more you don't care. Well, you like to think you don't. But I know you do." Zoe smirked.
"Oh, and you know me so well do you hot cheeks?" Sawyer taunted, but she didn't retaliate.
"How are you with golf Sawyer?" She asked him.
"Now watcha mouthing off about?" He asked, giving her a profound look.
"We found some golf equipment. Hurley set up a golf course. Wanna go take a look?" She asked.
"Suppose there is nothing else to do on this god-forsaken island." Sawyer sighed, and stood up, before sly adding. "Plus should give me a chance to show up the Doc." Zoe laughed, and grabbed his hand of his wounded arm, and tugged him to follow, causing him to yelp again fromt he injuries he had sustained from Sayid.
"Oh quite crying you bug dumb baby." She told him in a patronising tone.
