Interesting repeat of Henry's line, "Whatever you think I am, I'm not!" by Juliet. In both cases, they were exactly that, only she didn't yet know it.
Shirtless Ben. *shakes head* We'll never see that again.
I hope we get to see his reunion with Alex next week. And see him stand up for Juliet.
I wish I hadn't read so many spoilers! I didn't read the full-episode runthroughs, but might as well have. Ugh. ...although I didn't see the nicked artery coming! Kinda threw me for a loop. Even though I knew Ben would survive, I was still worried about him! In the moment, you don't really know if he's going to live or die ;D
EDIT: And you know ANOTHER Henry-ism that Juliet repeats, that I just thought of? A character asks them a very relevant, necessary question, and they just go, "...It doesn't matter." ARGH! Yes, it does! At least this time Jack managed to get an answer.

....Surgery without anesthesia? Do you suppose that was planned by Ben or not? It seemed a bit...thrown in there if it was a freak accident....
And...Juliet is there in the island against her will....and Ben has the power to send her home? How pwerful is Ben really? He's like...he can't be the leader, I think Jacob is whomever he is...but Ben is really high up there.
A medical resrearch facility...I figured as much but Juliet was there for 3 years....Ben his whole life....and theories?? Anyone?

Another thing to watch out is what's going to happen between Kate and Sawyer. I know that some of you may not like Kate, but there's a story brewing there. The way Sawyer looked at her while she was on the radio tells me there's unfinished business to be settled.

I can't believe it??!!  More or less 3 days ago I was thinking about a crazy thing like Ben waking up during the operation and... hell, it happened!!  I wonder why I'm not lost on the Island yet.. LOL -hugs!- ;D |

He is still all leader-like even when his spine is exposed, blood is squirting everywhere, people are screaming at one another and his kidneys are failing.
Ben is so bad-ass.
The guy getting hit by the bus made me laugh. It reminded me of "Final Destination".
..and I can't wait for Patchy! x] <3

Patchy is the guy that we saw on the monitor screen in Further Instructions. locke, sayid, nikki, and paulo went to the Pearl Station and this guy wearing an eye patch appeared on one of the screens there. anyway, Not in Portland was an awesome episod! I used to hate Juliet b/c she wants to get rid of Ben, but after that episode I really like her now! also, i think the episode should have been called Not Quite in Porland. |

I actually started to feel sorry for her and well, it kinda looks like Ben has forgiven her?! What I REALLY wanna know now is what the hell did Alex's boyfriend do to get him punished to the point of brainwashing? It was kinda funny, well a little the way Sawyer cocked his head just a little smidgen and looked at the film! He was like "What the..?" and it looked for a minute like he might go into a trance or something! Ha,ha! This episode should have been called "Not Exactly in Portland." |

I've had surgery where they give you an epidural so you don't feel the pain but then a drug just to keep you unaware. Apparently it was just the latter that wore off because he wasn't in pain. |
