Wow.. The thing about Ben driving the bus is really interesting! ;D But he said he's lived on the Island all his life and also Mike said it was true when he was interviewed on Comic News Insider!  Maybe he didn't know yet.. OR maybe Ben is lying now!  I love LOST for this kind of puzzles!  -HUGS!- |

Hi, I'm new  I was just wondering what you guys think about Ben being Alex's dad. It got me thinking back to season 2 when Rousseau trapped *Henry Gale* in her net and how she was SO sure that he was an Other and the way she kept telling Sayid that he would lie. It could mean he is her dad... but it might not also. Any opinions? Thanks  |

And I also think that Ben and Danielle made up a show for Sayid in order to get Ben into the Swan and Danielle shot Ben so that he could have a close interaction with Jack... But Alex resembles Danielle quite a bit. They must be kin. Maybe Ben had relations with her.....
Also, I looked on wikipedia and there is a thing called "Jacob's Ladder"
It is in the Book of Revelations symbolizing humankind's struggle to be redeemed, as the ladder links earth and Heaven, and the forgiven will be the only ones worthy of reaching the top.

But i hold firm with the question as to why the young ones are of special interest to the Others. Sun's baby will be next. Also, when I was watching the Dharma tape off of Lost media the Asian scientist mentions that the resreach facility, amonmg other things, are studying paraphsycology--paranormal stuff. Does anyone think that Lost will be supernatural, or more rooted in the mundane/reality? |

Ohmigosh - I was just reading esbaker's site, and she had this to say: "At the Fuselage, someone who claims to be able to read lips, said that Ben told Juliet that he was driving the bus. Interesting, If it is true, the next episodes with Ben and Juliet should be doozies. ) (I'm able to lip read and he said, "Juliet, I was the one driving the bus.")" That was meant to be a joke. In that thread at the Fuselage there were a lot of smart aleck answers to the question "what did Ben say?". The answers included: I'm able to lip read and he said, "Juliet, I was the one driving the bus. "Juliet, I'm your father" "Read my lips, no more taxes " “I am a Level 6 Mage Lipreader, and I bought the episode on iTunes, and watched the scene in question intently. There are two shots of Ben speaking. His speech is slurred due to being drugged, and I was barely able to make it out. In the first shot, it appears that he is saying, "...(it)ches. Can(?) you scra(tch it?)" In the second shot, I'm sure he's saying, "...gotta pee.  Could you-" I thought the last one to be the funniest. Level 6 Mage Lipreader! ;D What some real lip readers got out of the scene (from that same thread): “I can read lips and all I got out of it was the words "help me" "Help me, I'll help you" “Ben definitely says ‘If you help me, I can help you’ when they first zoom in on his face. But the second zoom-in is almost impossible to lipread because a lot of what he's saying is being pronounced inside his mouth, instead of there being a lot of labial pronunciations like in the first shot.” Penyours, of the Fuselage’s “whispers” thread, could not find any hidden audio in the scenes. If you don't know what the whispers thread is about, you need to head over the Fuselage and find out! TPTB have hidden a lot of audio in certain scenes. |
