This is so depressing, as much as I love Zeljko, Mike should have won it. Hes by far the better actor *cries*

Depressing is right.... Ugh, Michael deserved it so much. I can't imagine Michael more spectacular then he was in season 4, but maybe season 5 will be his year!

Stephen Colbert's team won for variety show writing. Someone I actually rooted for actually won something....what a shock. Came a few categories too late, but so many of my favorites keep losing at the Emmys, I'll take any little tiny thing at this point.

Unless the Colbert win is the beginning of a change of my luck, the rest of the big winners will be James Spader, Tony Shalhoub, Boston Legal, and Two and a Half Men.

Well, that's it for my commentary. I hope you all don't get flooded out of your houses when you cry yourselves to sleep. Hugs and for our beloved Michael Emerson, who would not want us to go over the top with our grief and rage- at least not more than we already are.

Dammit, I've been away for the last few days, screwed my internal clock up and kept thinking it was Saturday. Then I thought 'crap, it's the Emmys tonight!' logged on here and saw the bad news. Kind of glad I didn't build myself up this evening now, bah! *sulks*

Hugs and for our beloved Michael Emerson, who would not want us to go over the top with our grief and rage- at least not more than we already are. I'm very disappointed, but I should have known it was too good to be true. (At least he was nominated. So close, yet so far ...) But after all that trouble he and Carrie went to picking out their matching jewelry, has anybody even seen a close-up of Michael in the audience? I haven't. Well, he seems philosophical, and, unfortunately, he's been through this before, so I'm sure he's taking it fine. But still ... sending out hugs to Michael. And a big group hug to all his other disappointed fans.

I am really quite cross and feeling a bit of a dweeb about it - nice to be amongst people who understand my woe at this point!
