So, I was sort of wondering something, with the dirty mind I seem to have acquired today. You know how Ben was all dressed and everything on the beach? Well, who dressed him? I mean, he couldn't have dressed himself, that would cause way too much pain! Geez, I wonder such strange things.

Was anyone else disturbed/put off by Ben having Juliet branded? I know it was to get her back for trying to kill him, to make an example of her, etc. - and I know y'all are Juliet haters anyway  - but seriously. The writers drew parallels between Jack's tattoos and Juliet's mark, but the pain of getting a tattoo is (I'm assuming ) nothing compared to being branded. Ben has to be a pretty hard person to do that to someone he once loved. (Which I think we can assume, from his interview saying that the writers are moving Ben & Juliet towards "a full-blown relationship.") |

Oh and I forgot, why is Alex so angry at Ben? They showed more proof of this not only by her actions but by his look of tiredness when Ben saw Alex in the room with Jack. That he had brought him there. What happened here? Yeah, does Alex hate Ben? Not surprising...he tried to brainwash poor Carl. |

Not that I am sadistic or anything (ehm.. maybe just a little bit.. ), but I think that was a nice way to show how strong and powerful Ben is, even if he lies still on an operating table!  - When I look at him I see Michael, but let's face it's Ben there! He's the leader and there must be a reason for putting him in charge.. Eye for an eye - it's the rules! LOL (agree with amidala64!) _Hugs!_ P.S. - Okay.. I confess I hate Juliet.. ;D |

I don't hate Juliet.. .I just wish she didn't want to kill Ben. But remember she said.."some of us want a change"..so it ain't just her that wants him dead. :[

Yes, Jacob must be able to see into the hearts of the survivors....that was why Ben went to get Locke--he was one of the good ones....and the children are innocents.... I don't believe Ben when he told Locke he was there for him. Ben had lied about everything else why would he tell the truth about this one point? He was just messing with Locke's head yet again. Locke might have been a good person but now he belongs to the island and the island's priorities might not be Ben and Company's. I think they took the tailie kids and Alex to give them a better life -just as Karl said. The tailie kids had no parents with them. Anna Lucia and the other adults had no claim to them so it made sense for the Others to rescue them. Ditto for Alex. Her mother was crazy and would have killed her as soon as she got a rash. It would have been morally negligent of them not to rescue Alex too. The only kidnapped child was Walt and that was because of his special abilities. Loved how Television Without Pity called Isabel "strangely erotic"! Must have been that little lip biting bit when she talks to Jack. |

I bet it was Tom who dressed him and I bet it was Tom who saw to it that Ben was clean shaven. Ben is obviously important to them all from how he was treated on the beach. |
