Hmmm, can you pay $3,000 a month for a one room apartment? Welcome to NYC.

I can't go. I don't want to talk about it. I'm sorry, I wanted to be there.

Hmmm, can you pay $3,000 a month for a one room apartment? Welcome to NYC. For a couple of months, which I know wouldn't be enough. So, I settle for going to the library and read "The New York Times." I've always liked hearing that the city is diverse, has people from all over the world. It's a shame that it's so expensive. Most large cities are expensive. You can move to Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx. But those places are a bit far away from the actual action that is found in Manhattan. Of course, the rent in those boroughs are not much cheaper, either. Ooops, I forgot about Staten Island, which is only accessible via ferry or via the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, which is in mid-Brooklyn.

Yes, I know that Broadway shows are $90 and up and that readings are cheaper, but sites like these gave me the impression that it's possible to see very good, professional theater productions, Off-Broadway or Off-Off Broadway, for around $20, the same price that my local community theaters charge. It kind of made me wish I lived in NYC or L.A. Hmmm, can you pay $3,000 a month for a one room apartment? Welcome to NYC. Roughly the same as London then in price (well places like those on Marylebone Road)

Oh dear. Oh dear. I am too excited to believe it. Me and husband just bought tickets. Second row, the most centered ones left. Hey, people, who's going? I have to know whose ears to crumble up at the moment when Michael shows himself and I'll lose the sense of reality. Still no avia-tickets, still no place to live, but who cares???

Oh my life I am soooooooooo jealous of all of you who are going. I've got no chance being here in the UK!I doubt I could explain that to my hubby "yes dear I want to go to New York to see Michael Emerson live...who is he? He's the man I'm having an affair with in my head dear..." LOL!

I have the ticket. I have now found a place to stay for the upcoming awesomeness of seeing ME at the theater. Are there plans for dinner before? Are ppl meeting each other face to face? I'm very excited for this opportunity. YAY.
