I personally do not know where I am staying yet. I can stay with my niece but probably will stay in a hotel... Guess I should start looking into that now or soon. My thought was to all of us keep in touch as well as possible and possibly exchange cell numbers. I don't know NY well enough to say lets' meet somewhere. Perhaps we can track each other down at the show and do something afterward like buy michael a drink somewhere. Yea... in my dreams!

I am still very tempted to go, but because of my back, I can't be assured I will be fit enough to fly to NYC as I may only have been signed back on to work just before Christmas  |

I dont' know why this disappoints me but I see the Red Bull Theater has now listed Carrie as performing with Michael on the 28th of Dec. I guess it makes sense though as it is a story about "the fall of a pure wife".... But we all know Michael can do the voices of females equally as well as he can males.
I just wanted it to be him up there. I have nothing against Carrie at all, I like her very much but I am just thinking, no knowing, that Michael WILL be amazing... will she enhance his performance or hinder it. Is she of the same caliber as he is? I know she's had a lot of the training he has had and has done Shakespeare and been on stage; I just hope she can keep up.
My new thought just now is that maybe it will be fun to see them working together side by side. I am sure they will be enjoying working together a great deal so I will try to look at it that way. If Michael is enjoying himself and happy then certainly I can enjoy myself as well. Maybe she had planned on doing it with him all along but had to wait to see if her True Blood schedule would allow it before confirming.
Anyway just letting you all know. 64 days!

I think I would enjoy seeing Carrie as well. It's so nice to see them do something together on his Christmas break!! I guess I'll start looking at hotels as well, does anybody know where Red Bull theater is? Is it near Times Square?? I really don't care for NYC, I am only doing this for Michael!!  |

I would of expected her to be there whether she was in the reading or not. They don't spend that much time with each other anyway due to their schedules so I was expecting them to take every opportunity to be with each other, especially during the Christmas period

Yea thats' true Carrie would probably have been there either way. I just felt this odd sense of disappointment when I read that she would be reading with him, but I think it's not that it's her, I would have felt that way if it were anyone. I just wanted it to be him up there in all his glory. I'm ok with it now.
I have no clue where this theater is. I will hopefully arrive a day or two ahead of time and find it (and the artist entrance etc,). You think Carrie will let a bunch of women get pics with Michael? hehe I sure hope so.

It turns out my family will be spending Christmas at home in Massachusetts instead of going to Illinois, so...

I had almost given up hope, but then my family finally decided to stay at home, allowing me to travel to NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the multiple exclamation points, I hate them but I feel I need them now.
I for one am psyched that Carrie will be there as well. Squeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

I'd like to make a suggestion. To begin, let's gather all who is going. Send me a PM if you are in fact going to see Michael, and now Carrie, in NYC and would like to meet face to face.
Then we can figure out from there how to plan dinner and or drinks before or after the outing. This of course for people that only want to meet. If you are shy, no pressure ;D

I firmly believe as fans we need to stay away from his private life and let that stay private. yes, I agree. I really think we need to show Michael how respectful we are and try not to let our fangirl moments frighten him away! |
