Add me to the list of people who jumped up, screamed, and startled/confused everyone else in the house. What a wonderful moment. I'm thrilled for Michael.

MICHAEL AND JORGE ON RED CARPET. www.ew.com/ew/video/0,,20300978_20301498,00.html?bcpid=33388366001&bclid=33122318001&bctid=41178432001 I love seeing them together for some reason. I'm getting a letter out to Jorge this week. on a side note, my friends from my other Forum (whom hooked up because of LOST and that Forum) Met Jorge last week at breakfast along with his girlfriend Beth. So jealous, le sigh

Does anyone know the name of the person whom the announcer joked that Michael would blow him off, just to talk to them if he saw them in a bar? I heard, "(something) Fergeuson." S. Epatha Merkerson. www.imdb.com/name/nm0580924/I loved John Hodgman as the announcer. Especially when Jon Stewart was picking up his awards. Lot of inside jokes, though, so some people probably weren't fond of it.

I just wanted to check in with y'all...it's been a while! But our boy finally won that Emmy!
It's about time.
Remember back in the day when he was still Henry Gale and we wondered if we'd ever see him again after he escaped the Swan in Season 2?
Crazy.
Now he's one of the reasons people, even non-ME fans tune in to LOST every week.
I hope we're all squeeing with joy for our boy!
Much Love.

hahaha I've been watching over and over again the video (the winner is) and I noticed John Slattery is kinda pissed that he didn't win hahaha, note that he's the only one with the long face and clapping almost as if he was forced to Meanwhile Aaron Paul looks fine And I wish I could read lips to know what Carrie told Michael before/after the kiss

Haha, I remember when someone first posted that he was going to be on a few episodes of Lost and I thought I'd just tune in for those and never watch it again. Yeah, right. It sure has been an amazing journey for Michael, and for us!

I've just heard!!!!!!!! I am soooooooo thrilled for Michael, (gosh Carrie is beautiful! She looked particularly lovely in that orange dress)I was really hoping he'd win after all those nominations and he did! ;D Season four and five were very strong seasons for him so he more than deserves this. Yes his speech was very humble and sincere, bless him, he really loves what he does and playing a character like Ben particularly. He is such a sweetie...

Woke up my boyfriend with my scream when I read the news online. He was fabulous wasn't he? I had full on tears running down my face and still get a little teary just thinking back to it!

Interesting tidbit from Examiner.com blogger Michael Brandt. A little background on Michael's turning down a role for the movie "Armageddon." Live-blogging from the Emmys. Go to the 10:20 entry.

So this means he made a decision that enhanced his creative development at the expense (possibly) of his professional status, or at least his Hollywood status. I find the fact that Michael succeeded in "Lost" merely by chance, for lack of a better term, is what makes it even more special. This wasn't staged and shaped by PR and network brass. This was more developing a creative discovery.

And nice pic of Michael and his danger trophy from the L.A. Times. Scroll down a bit. It's worth it.
