Well, this cracked me up and in addition to confirming Kate-hate, shows a disturbing lack of language skills. Oh, my goodness. I'm going to chalk it up to youth and inexperience or lack of training/education. I don't think Lilly went to college or maybe just she didn't excel in English, and I understand some people do struggle with an inability to express their ideas well, but this comes close to the teen pageant contestant's "such as the Iraq" remarks. Crazy Days and Nights: Evangeline Lilly's LOST Theory

I believe she was trying to explain her theory on Kate in the sideways universe- I don't think that link explained that. It was part of the "Totally Lost" video series for Entertainment Weekly, and her quote came up while EW's Lost experts were discussing last week's flash-sideways. In the context of her theorizing on flash-sideways Kate, it makes a bit more sense.

I understand what Evi is saying, but it doesn't really hold any water. If Kate actually experienced everything we've seen, then what event wiped out her memory of it? She's really talking about a sense of de ja vu, I think. URGH. I am just so annoyed with Kate. She bores me, and she never changes. If the Losties went through hell and back to set things right, then they should show some sort of character flaw resolution, right? Yet Kate gets a second chance - and she runs. AGAIN. Really, really boring. Sorry, I just feel like grumbling. I have never been the least bit intrigued by the Claire mystery, either. I do understand what some of you have said about last epi setting us up for things to come, so at least that will make that hour worthwhile. Right now I'm just celebrating (potentially) the very last Kate-centric epi. I think I am expecting too much from this last season. I expect to be regularly blown away, and they can't possibly deliver on it.

Totally agree Tigerlily I was expecting each episode to be full to bursting with big revelations and answers but the writers are still holding back. But I still have faith in them and we'll probably be blown away pretty soon (I hope!) ;D

There has to be some differences, however, since it's doubtful that the pool was dirty and muddy when Ben went in there. Jacob was still alive in 1977, so the pool probably worked like it was supposed to for Ben - it only failed and allowed the monster's power to claim Sayid after Jacob was killed. So I doubt that the pool was entirely responsible for Ben's darkness, since it was probably clear back then - though it's unlikely we'll get any flashbacks to confirm it.

I didn't like the episode too much. I was surprised though, that jack was right for once ;D I must say, I begin to like Dogen very much. He is an interesting character and the actor is very good. Sadly the same couldn't say about Kate - the character is getting more and more boring every time, she is seen on screen. Thankfully, it wasn't all about Kate, there was much other stuff in there to be interesting. And finally Claire again. I was wondering, if she's still alive. And I'm really surprised about the growinga cting skills of Josh Holloway. He is getting really good - not that he was bad at the beginning, but he was a little pale compared to some of his co-cast. But he surprised me the last episodes (and in most of the 5th season)
And no, I wouldn't say, that I'm a Kate hater. I can't hate a character from a show, who doesn't exist. She is just boring to me. And I would never project that on Lilly, she is a different person.
