After most of the fanbase raved over last week's show, this week's outing seems to be in a no-win situation in following up. But it does officially kick off the second half of the season and of the war, so some important pieces might be put in place. "The Package" Written by Paul Zbyszewski & Graham Roland Directed by Paul Edwards.
Sun and Jin desperately continue their search for one another, and Locke confronts his enemy.

I loved it!! I liked seeing how Jin got in the freezer in the first place and was super excited when Mikhail showed up! I had no clue he was going to come back and the way he died, with the bullet through his eye, was classic! I love seeing the writer's sense of humor in the show. Speaking of a sense of humor, I enjoyed how Ben was a bit of comic relief this episode. When he was explaining himself to Ilana I had to laugh. Some big things were set up in this episode and I can't wait to see the coming war. And Desmond! Looks likes he really is going to be the key to everything. And maybe Sayid does feel something after all since he didn't kill Des like he was sent to do.

I'm glad to see the show back on its game. I just loved how the flash sideways are getting knit together. I don't know of any others in which the details didn't jibe with other flash sideways. This makes me think that they are more substantial rather than just some sort of fantasy "gee, wouldn't life have been grand if we hadn't crashed on that island?" Clearly, it's more complicated than that.

MIKHAIL! I had no idea he was coming back for an ep. What a pleasant surprise. Like Melissa and Mythic, I'm really liking how the flash-sideways started connecting events together and expanding on them.

Prediction for next week: Widmore will make Desmond exposed to one of those electromagnetic pockets Zoe brought up to Jin, because that's somehow going to make him defeat the monster. Since Desmond was exposed to massive electromagnetism before, doing it again could make him do much more than go through time. Maybe it could even foreshadow the answer of how the Man in Black became the monster. And I'd also be set for Faraday's journal to come back as well. That journal said Desmond would be Daniel's constant, and Eloise Hawking has had the final version of that journal since 1977. My guess on what we'll learn next week - Widmore got it from Hawking after being banished, learned about Desmond from that journal even before he got together with Penny, figured Desmond would be exposed to electromagnetism, and every single evil act towards him since then has been to get him on the island, exposed, and ready to use towards defeating the monster once he came back. If the Man in Black can plan ahead like that for decades/centuries, surely Widmore could for about 15 years.

I gave it 4. I didn't like this episode at all, it was boring and uninteresting. Blah. The LOST spirit was missing, the characters were routine and empty. Mikhail ...so? Why do you like Mikhail so much?

Gah, they're back on underusing Ben as an one liner comedy relief...stop it already! He has to be a main player! I wish he was actually lying to Ilana.
Nice to see all those characters (even the dead ones) in the same episode, though ;D

Why do you like Mikhail so much? Because he is Patchy! Andrew Divoff is a fantastic character actor and I think he brought something great to LOST. It was fun to see him again, especially since I had no clue he was going to be back on the show. Plus, it reminds me of what I consider the heyday of LOST, during seasons 2 and 3 when I really fell in love with the show and the Others.

I actually enjoyed this episode a lot more than I did last week's! It was packed with action, we got to see Des (yey), even though Ben's part was rather insignificant this tme but I enjoyed Daniel Dae Kim's acting a lot (and also his bare chest hehehe) I'm actually intrigued by what's going to happen to alter-Sun after getting shot It was a crazy surprise (and ironic, plus showing how evil/sadistic Sun's father is) that Jin himself had to deliver the money to Keamy to get killed for "dating" his daughter. Poor Jin So here's a question: Widmore is a good guy? How did he find out about Jacob being dead and MIB trying to leave the Island??? Is Jacob talking to him too? Anyways great episode, I enjoyed it very much

I loved it. Voted 8. I love Sun and Jin very much, And I want them to reunite soon!!!Terry was brilliant!!! he was enormously brilliant in this episode! And it was very-very nice to see Ben in a CLEAN T-shirt ;D taking care of Sun. . . And now I think that the 6th candidate is Desmond. And he`ll have to sacrifice Penny. . . it scares me and makes me upset... Because Desmond`s love with Penny is the only true epic love in Lost, especially against the background where this stupid Skate exists. . . I believe, he`ll have to replace Jacob. . .

I loved it, I think Ben's brief appearances were great, loved the funny lines. I am getting uncomfortable with Illana, surely the writers wont put them together? It would be very strange for Ben to have someone at last not that I would ever deny him happiness. Ok so I'm jealous lol!
This season has been so great so far.

Brilliant!!! At last the flashsideways are all connecting nicely ;D Great to see Mikhail back *And with both eyes* Well until he was shot in one of them LOL!!! Sun and Jin not married eh!! Ooooooh I loved that Ben was wearing a lovely clean shirt he looked hotter than ever and it was good to actually see him in more than a few scenes tonight. Ahhhhhhh It was sooooooooo sweet when he was helping Sun, We don't often get to see Ben's caring side which is a shame!!! Yay Desmond was 'The Package' Can't wait for his ep next week. Why can't the Smoke travel across the ocean? As Sawyer pointed out...
