Charlotte was happy Charlie asked her to join the others, maybe he really cared for her. But she banished the thought immediately, she knew he was with Claire. And they seemed pretty happy together, he was probably just trying to be nice.
"You want some"grinned Des as she sat down near the fire holding a bottle with rum."I dunno"she smiled maybe it would be better to keep a clear head. "C´mon it´ll make you feel better"giggled Des."I´ll leave you two alone now"said Charlie and walked over to Claire. Charlotte was watching Claire laughing happily cause Charlie was joking around with the baby. "Hey you want some now"asked Des watching her. Charlotte nodded and downed the drink with one gulp. She began coughing, Des laughed."You´ll get used to it after a while".Charlotte laughed with tears in her eyes."I guess so".
Charlotte noticed that Jana and Sayid were still sitting at the beach.She waved so they would join them too, but they didn´t see her. She felt happy for Jana who had Sayid, they were cute together.Hopefull things would work out for them she thought.

I had an entry almost done yesterday, but then my laptop crashed and I didn't feel like writing it again D: sorry!
sayid was looking over his shoulder to the big campfire with all the cheering people around.
he would have liked to join his friends, but he felt it was more important to stay with jana although he had done so for several hours now already.
"what about joining the others?" he asked, looking back at her.
jana had calmed down by now, but she hadn't moved away from the shore, nor had she told sayid to leave. she didn't feel that sad anymore, but not good enough to call herself happy either. however, that sayid was still with her meant much to her and although silence had fallen opon them for quite some time until now, there hadn't been the need to talk.
"I don't know..." she muttered, while she made circles in the sand with a little stick which had been layind around. "I don't feel like going over.."
suddenly, sayid was standing up and jana was already fearing she had just given the wrong answer. was he sick of her? she didn't like her current state either, but then again, what could she do? she looked up at him, but found herself screaming a second after that:
"sayid! NO!"
sayid chuckled at that reaction as he was casually walking over to the fire,
carrying jana over his shoulder, one of his arms wrapped around her waist.
"stop that!!" jana squealed, grabbing his shirt with her hands on his back for that was all
she could do from this position. sayid wouldn't listen though and carried her over to the fire place.
as the celebrating losties saw sayid approach the place with jana lifted over his shoulder,
they were all laughing and cheering at them.
sayid let jana down carefully and grinned at her deviously as she looked at him with a bright red face "idiot." she said and hit his shoulder with her fist lightly.
then she smiled.

"you know im gonna need your help when we get back sawyer?" she said. "oh yeah?" he replied "yeah i think i kinda pissed sum ppl off" she said saddened. "u ain't the only one" he replied. sophie thought back @ the times when sawyer had done wrong. "yeah but they probally won't trust me" she said. "im sure it will be ok" sawyer was trying to comfort her. suddenly they heard footsteps. "who's there?" shouted sawyer rasing his gun and circling around there little peremiter. "theres no point in doing that james, its not loaded." "john!" said sophie "what you doing here??" she said. john wlaked over he had sum fruit and was cutting it with his knife and eating it. "sophie you know isn't a good idea, you running off from ben, i mean you don't know what he is capable off." "i know john, but our freinds......." "james can go back, he can tell them, give him the tape recorder" he said "how did you....." i saw you sneak off sophie, so i came after you" he said. sophie knew john was right, she loved ben but apart of her was frightend of waht he could do. she looked over to sawyer. "tell them i'm ok" she said. as he passed the tape recorder to sawyer. sawyer nodded, and john and sophie watched him walk off. "c'mon we better get back, it will be light soon." "does he know?" "no he fast alseep, they all are." he grinned.
sophie and john got back to the "others camp" it was then starting to get light. sophie sneaked back in bens tent she grabbed the note she left on the pillow and hid it up behind a book on the bookshelf. "what you doing?" as ben stirred up.

Charlotte saw Sayid carrying Jana over to the campfire.She grinned, they were so cute."How are you doing?"asked Charlotte sitting down next to Jana."I´m still sad, but I think I´m feeling better."she answered."Hows u?"Jana asked looking at the half-empty bottle of rum."I´ll be fine I guess"she smiled and hugged Jana.They sat there starring at the crackling fire.Somehow it had a soothing effect just watching it."Are you hungry.there´s still boar left"asked Charlotte suddenly."No it´s alright"smiled Jana.´"C´mon you gotta eat something"grinned Charlotte and helped her up.´"I´ll get a plate for you"said Sayid who had listened to them and walked over to the shelf."He´s nice"smirked Charlotte as they walked over to Jack."Yes he is"said Jana.
"Hey you two"smiled Jack."Here you go"he said giving Jana the plate with the boar."Hey let´s go over to Hurley, Des and Jin"suggested Charlotte so they walked over to them and listened to Jin´s ghost story.

jana was feeling better and better, at least she got distracted from all that had happened
and she was grateful for having so many nice friends who wanted her best.
so, jana and charlotte had great fun listening to jin's stories. they didn't understand a word, but it was funny nevertheless and they were all laughing.
it was getting pretty late now, the fire went down a little and there was no boar left to eat.
"god, I'm going to bed..." yawned jack as he got up, getting the sand off his trousers.
"yeah, dude it's kinda... late." hurley said, although he was still eating some meat off a bone.
they all agreed and helped putting out the fire with sand. desmond was already snoring somewhere near his tent, he was totally drunk. jin and sun disappeared in their tent and as charlotte and jana hugged, jana noticed charlotte was a little drunk as well.
"you sure you can find your tent?" jana grinned.
charlotte nodded "course." she mumbled "see you tomorrow." she smiled and went off to her
tent. jana looked after her into the darkness for a little while, then she went to her tent and lay down to sleep.
she sighed, besides the sounds of desmon snoring somewhere, it was almost totally quiet.
she could hear the waves and some rustling from the jungle. those sounds were one of the good things on this island.. she would surely miss that once she would get home again.
if she would...
suddenly, she heard someone open the tarp in front of her little tent. she didn't see the person who came in and almost jumped up. "who-?"
"it's me." sayid whispered and laid down behind her, one arm around her waist.
jana didn't move and stared ahead, feeling sayid breath out comfortably. he didn't say anything else nor did he move. jana smiled happily to herself, placed her hand on his and fell asleep.

ben supported himself lazily on one forearm, his eyes narrowed as he tried to see properly.
it was quite early and he felt still tired, but why was sophie up already?
"I couldn't sleep." sophie lied and sat down next to ben who rolled on his back slowly,
looking at her. "I'm sorry." he said, his voice a little husky for he had just woken up.
"did I snore?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. sophie laughed cheerfully "no, you didn't."

ben then pulled the sheet he had on the bed "come back to bed" he smiled sophie climbed back in a laid looking @ ben. "so whats wrong, why can't u sleep?" "oh im just like that sumtimes ben, sleeping in a new place........" "oh" as he held her close towards him. sophie kissed him and then said "happy birthday ben" ben looked @ her funny then smiled. "how did you?....." "tom told me yesterday" she smiled. ben looked really happy, "i've never celebrated it b4" he smiled and kissed her back. they just laid there looking @ each other. till sophie fell asleep.................

Charlotte headed slowly over to her tent and stumbled in it."Damn"she thought."I´ve had definitely too much rum."Suddenly she remembered the the scene at the beach of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" where Johnny Depp grieved about his beloved rum.She had to laugh at the thought of "Captain" Jack Sparrow going crazy and shouting at Elizabeth Swann who had used the rum to make a big fire so there was a chance that they got rescued .It was the last movie she had seen before she and the others crashed on this island.
She had asked herself a billion times what her parents or her friends were doing right now.Do they think she´s dead?They probably did.Charlotte sighed and let herself fall on her little bed.It wasn´t very comfortable but she got used to it.There weren´t many things in her tent: a little cupboard with her clothes, a chair and the bed."Maybe I should get a few more things"Charlotte thought looking around.
She closed her eyes thinking of the evening but her head was spinning because of the alcohol so she opened them again.The evening turned out to be nice after all and she was still delighted that Charlie seemed to be a bit worried about her.It was love at first sight, at least for her.He was always so cheerful and optimistic playing on his guitar.But well he fell in love with Claire and now they were a couple.She was happy for him, but it hurt sometimes watching them.They were like a real family.
Thinking of what Sophie might be doing right now she finally fell asleep.
She woke up late the next morning, the sun was already shining bright and she heard the others talking outside her tent.Charlotte smiled to herself and got up, looking forward to a new day.

the next morning jana woke up feeling light and actually good.
she knew exactly why. her friends and especially sayid had managed to get her thoughts off sophie and ben and that had greatly helped to lighten up her mood.
she opened her eyes and heard the waves outside again, some far away voices of the people who were awake already. as she moved, she realized that sayid wasn't there anymore and couldn't help the little disappointed feeling inside her stomach. that he had come over last night had surprised her, but she hadn't thought long about it and had just enjoyed his presence. now that he was gone, she felt a little odd about it.
but suddenly, someone removed her tarp. sayid's head popped through "oh. you're awake."
he smiled and jana couldn't help smiling back immediately "yeah, woke up just now." she said as he came in with some cut fruits in a little bowl.
"I got us some breakfast." he said "do you want to eat outside?"
jana nodded, the disappointed feeling gone and she followed sayid outside to the shore.
it was a bright and sunny day, she took a deep breath of the salty scent in the air and stretched a little. then she saw charlotte leave her tent. jana waved her cheerfully before she caught up with sayid.

sophie felt ben's soft lips kiss her cheek, she opened her eyes and looked @ him. she could hear the others outside talking laughing, she could smell food being cooked. "what time is it?" she asked. "time we had sum fun" ben whispered, sophie giggled as he was stroking her arms with his fingers. "i dunno ben" she said, as he stopped. she turned over to look @ him "im sorry ben, its just ......... im not ready after what we been thro" ben thought about the baby and how sophie miscarried. "ok" he said and kissed her. he rolled out of bed and put his glass's on. "you stay there" he said with a smile as he went outside. sophie layed there thinking about her friends wondering if sawyer had gotten back. had he told them that she was ok? then she thought about ben how sweet he is too her. how much he cares for sophie, and that last nite she nearly left him. how would he of dealt with that? she decided to get up even tho ben told her to stay. meanwhile jana and sayid sat down sharing the fruit he had chopped. "oh i forgot sumthing" he said getting up "wait there" he smiled to jana. sayid was walking back near the kitchen area of the camp when he hears "Hey! Sayid!" sayid looks around and spots sawyer coming out of the jungle. SAYID: What happened to you? SAWYER: I was with Locke and Sophie. SAYID: Well where our they? SAWYER: they went back. SAYID: Back where? SAWYER: With them. Don't ask me where the hell it is cause it don't matter right now. What does matter, [shows him the tape recorder], is this. meanwhile ben was talking to john as sophie came over she looked @ john knowing that he knew she was gonna do a runner the nite b4. "john want to have that talk now?" ben asked. john nodded and "lets go to my tent" he said  lol as he kissed sophie on the forehead, "we won't b long, why don't you chat with my ppl" he tried to encourage her. she still hadn't really fitted in yet. "ok" she said "I know I promised to tell you everything, John, and I wish it was as simple as me taking out a dusty old book and opening it up." said ben offering john but john just gives him a blank face so ben puts it on the table next to john (bum shot mmmmm lol) "But its not that simple." he says as he sits down. John: How about you just tell me. Ben: You probably think I'm the leader of this little community. But that's not entirely true. We all answer to someone, John. John: And whom might that be? Ben: His name is Jacob. John: OK then. Take me to Jacob. Ben: I can't do that. [john gets up from his chair and starts to leave.] Ben: Where are you going? John: Hell Ben, if you don't wanna take me maybe someone else will. I'll just go and ask Richard... Ben: Why would Richard take you? He doesn't know where Jacob is, he doesn't talk to Jacob... John: Well who talks to him? Ben: I do. John: So you're the only one who talks to him! Ben: That's right. John: And no-one else knows where he is? Ben: I was born here on this Island, I'm one of the last that was. Most of these people you see, I brought them here, so Jacob talks to me, John. He tells me what to do, trusts me. John: And, no-one else has ever seen him? Ben: That's right. John: How convenient. You know what I think, Ben? I think there is no Jacob. I think your people are idiots if they believe you take orders from someone else. You are the man behind the curtain, the Wizard of Oz. And you're a liar. Ben: And what might you base that theory on, John? John: Because if you were telling the truth, your hand wouldn't be shaking. [Ben puts his other hand over the one holding the glass, which is shaking] |

As Charlotte walked out of her tent, Jana was waving at her happily following Sayid.She waved back and smiled.It was a wonderful day.She decided to go for a long walk today, maybe doing a picnic.Heading over to the shelf with the fruit she thought about asking Jana to come too.It would be cool doing something "normal"again and they´d have lots of fun.She looked over to the beach expecting to see Jana and Sayid but Jana was sitting there alone.As Charlotte turned around she saw Sayid and Sawyer talking about something in excited voices.
"Well then show me the tape"said Sayid pointing at a tape recorder Sawyer held in his hands.
Charlotte listened closely."Wasn´t Sawyer gone for a while?"she thought.
"Not here"said Sawyer and so they walked away.Sayid looked quite worried, "hopefully everything´s okay"Charlotte thought
and decided to go over to Jana.
"Good Morning"she smiled as she sat down besides Jana."Morning, do you know what´s wrong with Sayid?"asked Jana worried."Heard something about a tape, but I dunno what happened"she answered and sighed.Everything seemed to be so peaceful and now there would be some problems again.

jana raised her eyebrows a little - what tape? and sawyer was back?
that meant some things were going on again. she sighed and started nipping on a peace of
papaya. she had the odd feeling that sayid wouldn't come back so soon, although he had prepared the little breakfast for them.
"that means trouble?" jana mumbled.
charlotte nodded, but didn't seem to be pleased either "we can only wait and see."
"yeah." jana agreed and handed her over some fruit.

ben came out of the tent, sophie saw him he looked kinda shakened up and pale. she walked over to him "you ok ben?" he didn't say nething john came out of the tent. "what happened?" she asked. "nothing" he mumbled john grabbed his backpack and handed bens messenger bag to him. "He and I are going to see Jacob." said john. a lot of the others paused from what they were doing, sophie looked @ ben "jacob? who's jacob?" ben snatched the bag from john and put it other his shoulder. "JOHN" shouted alex. john looked over as alex came across "if you gonna c jacob your gonna need this." as she handed him a gun. ben looks surprised "thanks" says john alex walks off "oh and happy birthday dad" she says coldy. ben looked over to sophie and said "its ok sophie" as she looked worried "i'll be back soon" as he turn round and headed of with john. while they were walking ben says " Something you should know, John, before we go. Whether or not you think he's the Wizard of Oz, I can assure you that Jacob is very very real. And we're gonna go see him, and he's not gonna like it. In fact I have a feeling he's going to be very angry. And that's why my hand was shaking because this is not a man you go and see. This is a man who summons you." john smiles "Well I guess there's a first time for everything."
it was later that evening everyone was crowded round the kitchen area. "whats going on? why were we all called here?" asked charlie. "play the tape sawyer" said sayid, everyone listened to the tape, " Kwon is pregnant, the foetus is healthy and was conceived on-Island with her husband, he was sterile before they got here. I'm still working on getting samples from the other women, I should have Austen's soon. I'll report back when I know more." everyone looked shocked @ eachother.
JACK: Where'd you get that?
[The whole camp turn to see Jack and Juliet approach]
SAYID: Where have you been, Jack?
JACK: I asked you where you got it.
SAWYER: You really think you're in a position to be asking us questions?
JULIET: Turn the tape over.
SAWYER: Stay out of it.
JULIET: You wanna burn me at the stake, here I am, but first turn the tape over, press play.
[Sawyer does so, and the camp listen to another recording, this time by Ben]
BEN: Juliet, it's Ben. I'm sending three teams to extract Kwon the night after tomorrow. We won't have time to run Austen's sample, so if you determine that she or anyone else is pregnant, mark their tents and we'll take them too. Good luck.
"were here" said ben as john and ben stand outside an old shack. john flashes his torch @ ben "You'll wanna turn off your flash-light, John." "Why?" he asked "Jacob feels the same way about technology as you do." he snapped. john turns his torch off and puts it in his bag, as they both drop them and leave them on the floor. ben reaches the door and lightens up a lantern.
BEN: Once I open this door, there's no turning back. You sure this is what you want?
[Locke stares at him]
BEN: So be it. [To the door] Jacob! I'm here with John Locke, we're coming in now.
[Inside Locke looks around the room. Jars stand by the window, a painting of a dog can be seen by the wall. Ben moves over to an empty chair]
BEN: Jacob. This is John. Aren't you going to say hello, John?
LOCKE: What?
BEN: [Looks to the chair] I told you he wouldn't.
LOCKE: Who, what are you talking about?
BEN: You can't see him?
LOCKE: See who?
BEN: Jacob. He's sitting right here. In this chair. [Looks at the chair] Yes I know but he insisted.
LOCKE: What is this?
BEN: You wanted the secrets of the Island, well here they are. This is the man who can answer every single.... [Looks at the chair] I am not. He made me bring him here, do you think that that was my... Sorry, may I finish?
LOCKE: You're crazy.
BEN: Excuse me.
LOCKE: You don't know anything about the Island do ya, you just, made it all up.
BEN: [Looks at the chair] Jacob please I can't hear him... if you're gonna talk over... sentences...
LOCKE: Stop. Stop. Shut up!!! You putting on a show for me? Or do you, do you really think there's someone there?
BEN: I know there's someone there.
LOCKE: You don't know anything.
BEN: I'm sorry you feel that way, John. And I'm sorry that you're too limited to see.
LOCKE: You're pathetic.
[As Locke leaves he hears a voice]
VOICE: Help... me.
[Locke turns]
LOCKE: What did you just say?
BEN: I, I didn't say anything.
LOCKE: Oh yes you did, I heard you, [raises the flash-light], you said...
[Suddenly the room takes on a life of its own. Chairs rock, glass smashes, the lantern catches fire and windows shatter]
BEN: [To the chair] That's enough, you've had your fun!
[Ben is thrusted back against the wall. For a split moment there is a figure in the chair and a close-up of an eye. Locke runs out of the house. Ben follows.]
LOCKE: What was that?
BEN: That was Jacob.
sophie was with richard and tom sitting next to a fire. she seemed to get on with tom well they were chit chatting about random things. sophie was looking @ the fire "you know he will be ok" richard said looking @ her. sophie smiled in her mind she was more worried about john, but she knew he can look after himself. suddenly she felt a shot of pain in her stomach "owwwww" she screamed tom jumped up to her "whats wrong?" she looked up "john!" she screamed. richard looked worried like he knew what sophie was thinking. sophie got up and started to run in the jungle richard grabbed her "get your hands off me" she screamed as she kicked him he let go and watched her run off. tom walked up to richard. "was that her powers?" tom asked. "yes, shes seen something" richard replied. "should we go after her?" asked a worried tom. "no"
ben and john were heading back.
BEN: What did you hear in there, John? What did Jacob say to you?
LOCKE: He didn't say anything to me. You did.
BEN: What are you talking about?
LOCKE: There is no Jacob, Ben. I'm not gonna be taken in by the little show you put on last night. You're a fraud. And its time your people were told the truth. And this is not the way we came.
BEN: I'm taking us back another way. I wanted to show you something first.
LOCKE: I've seen enough.
BEN: You know, John, you're not wrong, some of the things I've told you, some of the things I've told everybody, are simply not true.
LOCKE: Like what?
BEN: Well, for starters, I wasn't born on this Island.
LOCKE: Then where did you come from?
BEN: That's what I wanna show you.
they headed further into the jungle ben stopped john as john saw a big pit in the ground full of dead bodies with DHARMA jumpsuits on. sophie had caught up with them she hid in sum bushes so she could watch whats was going on.
BEN: This is where I came from, John. These are my people. The DHARMA Initiative. They came here seeking harmony, but they couldn't even coexist with the Island's original inhabitants. And when it became clear that one side had to go. One side had to be purged. I did what I had to do. I was one of the people that was smart enough to make sure that I didn't end up in that ditch, which makes me considerably smarter than you, John.
John turns to strike but Ben shoots him. John falls into the ditch. sophie nearly screamed but covered her mouth with her hands, she couldn't believe what she saw. she daren't move a muscle. if ben knew she was there she didn't want to think what he would do to her.
BEN: What did Jacob say to you?
LOCKE: Why did you do this?
BEN: Because you heard him. Now I need to know what he said.
LOCKE: Help me
BEN: John, I'm not going to ask you again. What did he say to you?
LOCKE: He said... help me.
[Ben looks troubled, and flinches for a moment]
BEN: Well I certainly hope he helps you, John.
ben leaves the john in the pit and walks off, sophie waits a couple of seconds tear in her eyes terrified and shaking. she ran over and jumped in the pit. "sophie!" john mumbles. "john its gonna be ok" but he was slowly breathing "no" as she cries to him. "don't you die on me John Locke" as she cries. suddenly he stops breathing. "nooooooooo" john and she shakes him. nothing.

Charlotte was shocked, what was that all supposed to mean?After she and Jana had noticed that something was going on they had stayed at the camp all day wanting to know what had happened.Sayid just came over for a few minutes to talk to Jana, but he didn´t give away anything.
Now that they knew all about the tape Charlotte was rather surpised, though she felt that Juliet had been lying to them all the time.She couldn´t believe that Jack actually trusted or still trusts her.Jana nudged her with the elbow, she looked at her.One could see that she was shocked too but angry."I knew you coulnd´t trust her, that she´s still an other but nobody listened and now we´re all in trouble!"she whispered.
Everyone was shouting and asking questions.Nobody knew what to do."Stop it"shouted Jack suddenly."I reckon you´re all scared and angry, but that doesn´t really help. Just listen to me now!"

jana hadn't expected all this. actually, she had liked juliet at some point when she and sophie at been in otherville. she seemed to have disliked ben and that made her kind of sympathetic in jana's opinion (LOL! I'm so mean). now she was cooperating with ben... or not?
well it seemed that she had changed sides, but then again it didn't help them much - the others were on their way probably!
"we can actually take advantage of the situation." jack said, trying to calm everyone down.
"what the hell are you talking about?" sawyer interrupted "those freaks are coming over here." while jin was trying to get out of sun what was actually going on, kate was staring holes into juliet. the woman felt uneasy, but at least she had it gotten off her chest now.
sayid was looking serious and thoughtfully at jack "so, what do you suggest we do?"

"JOHN!" she screamed sophie quickly put her hands on his gun shot wound, she closed her eyes she took a deep breath. she tried to use her powers but they weren't working, "c'mon sophie" she said to herself. suddenly a surge of energy shot through her and into john which then threw her across the pit.
*GASP* sophie looked up and saw john gasping for air. "john" she said as she crawled over to him. "it's ok im here" she said as she rested his head on her lap. "wh......what happend?" he asked still trying to breathe. "shhhhhhh" she said holding.
few moments later john sat up he looked @ his t shirt all covered in blood, he lifted it up to look @ his stomach there was nothing there, like nothing had happened. this spooked him out abit as he jumped up and looked @ sophie. "but ben, he shot me?" sophie sat there. "i died? am i dead now?" "no john" she finally replied. "but how?" "i helped you" she said smiling, wiping tears in her eyes.
he went and sat down next to her as she broke down in tears. "john i thought you were gone then" "awww you can never get rid of me" he said jokely to make her laugh. "but ben why did he shoot you?" he looked down to the ground. "he didn't like sumthing he saw." "jacob?" she asked. john just nodded. "john i don't know what to do! i can't go back to him now, after witnessing that! what would he do to me?" she asked worriedly. "i don't think he would hurt you sophie" sophie stood up. meanwhile ben had reached back to camp. alex came running over "wheres john?" she asked worried. the others seem to think john was special so they were surprised to c ben alone. "he's with jacob" as he went in his tent and shut it closed. he was hoping sophie would be there he needed her right now. he sat down and poured himself sum whiskey and downed it down. his hands was shaking. he needed to get it out of his mind what had just happend. so he went to the bookshelf and pulled out a book. a note fell on the floor........................
