Roleplaying..................

Richard shook his head and headed to his tent. He pushed the flap aside and looked in upon Megan's sleeping figure. He smiled to himself and ducked inside. He made his way over to her and kissed her forehead. She smiled and rolled onto her back. Her eye lids fluttered open and she looked into his eyes. "Hello sleeping beauty," he smiled and laid down next to her, gathering her up in his arms. She curled up to his chest and kissed his chin.

"How was your day?" she asked, then kissed his lips.

"Good, but better now that I'm with you." he said and kissed her cheek. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

"And the girl?"

"Who? Sophie?" he asked

"Yes.....where is she?"

"She left...." he frowned and looked into her eyes. "Tom and I tried to stop her.....but she's a wild one that one."

"She got away?" Megan asked, sitting up. Richard propped himself on an elbow.

"Yea, but not without a struggle.....kind of"

"What do you mean....'kind of'?"

"She kicked me."

"You let a girl escape because she kicked you?" she asked as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Look, I have to deal with Ben criticizing me left and right.....but I can't deal with you being against me as well." he said and laid down.

"I'm not against you, mon ange" she said and settled back down next to him.

He smiled "I love it when you talk French to me" he said and pulled her ontop of him, kissing her deeply.

"Je t'aime, Richard. Je t'aime tellement" she whispered into his ear.

"Te amo" he smiled and kissed her deeply. He rolled her over so she lay under him and he kissed her neck.

ben burst's into megans tent. "thought you would be here" staring @ richard. "jeez ben sum privacy" snapped megan as richard rolled of the bed and quickly got up. "ben your back already" richard mumbled. ben looked over to megan "richard and i need to talk" he said coldly then looked over to richard with daggers in his eyes "whatever you have to say ben you can say with me here" "no alone!" richard turned to megan. "megan please" megan looked over to richard then got up from the bed, as she walked by ben she gave him evils.

"so how did it go?" asked richard. "wheres sophie?" he snapped. "umm.....i....." "I SAID WHERES SOPHIE?" "she left......" left? left where?" "she ran into the jungle, i tried too stop her.............(ben sat on a chair with his hands in his head) im sorry" "well u didn't stop her did you?" as he looked up. "i thought she was happy, she left me a note" "but thats impossible i mean, she was with me and tom the whole time after you left" ben looked puzzled.

ben has flashback

sophie sneaked back in bens tent she grabbed the note she left on the pillow and hid it up behind a book on the bookshelf. "what you doing?" as ben stirred up.
ben supported himself lazily on one forearm, his eyes narrowed as he tried to see properly.
it was quite early and he felt still tired, but why was sophie up already?
"I couldn't sleep." sophie lied and sat down next to ben who rolled on his back slowly,
looking at her. "I'm sorry." he said, his voice a little husky for he had just woken up.
"did I snore?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. sophie laughed cheerfully "no, you didn't."

back to real moment

"she was going to leave me" ben said looking to richard sad. "what do you mean?" this morning i found sophie up and awake in our tent, she said she couldn't sleep (ben smiled) she was fiddling with the bookcase, thats where i found the note."
richard poured to drinks and sat next to ben, he knew ben had calmed down now. "you know i don't think that was the reason why she left" he said trying to reassure him. "what?" he said lookin @ richard.
"we were sitting outside. i dunno she suddenly screamed in pain. tom asked what was wrong? she said john!" ben dropped his glass on the floor. "u ok?" said richard as ben got up and out the tent. richard followed.

"Ben?!?" ben stopped @ turn round. "i know where she is" "not now ben!" "i don't take orders from you" he snapped. "ben listen, you know she will go back to them, lets just stick with our plan!" he looked @ richard. "the day after tomorrow, i will get her back!"


meanwhile in the jungle.......

"is that what you want?" asked john sophie thought about it, she loves ben, but seeing what he just did frightend the hell out of her. when he's with sophie he's is a completey different person. not the person she just saw. then she thought of her friends, that she missed dearly. she looked up to john "yes" "then lets go" as he climbed out of the pit and helped sophie out too.....

everyone was still disscussing what to do, about "the others coming" situation. sawyer looked over @ jana and charlotte he remembered he made a promise to sophie to tell them she was ok. he went over to them and talked to them quietly "thought you should know, i saw sophie, she wanted me to tell you shes ok!"............................................................................................

Richard ran a hand through his hair and gritted his teeth. Ben really was loosing it. All over a woman. He glanced across the camp and noticed Megan gathering water bottles. He grabbed his bag then headed over as she reached for another and placed his hands over hers upon the bottle. “Headed to the falls?” he asked and held her hand. She looked up at him and tucked her hair behind her ears.

“Yea… I figured it was something I could do.”

“May I join?” he asked, as he gathered a few himself and placed them inside his bag.

“Sure” Megan smiled and hitched her backpack up and turned towards the trees, walking off with Richard right behind her.



As they got far enough in the jungle, Richard took Megan’s hand had turned her to face him. “What is it?” she asked, as she looked around, looking for any possible danger.

Richard chuckled “Nothing mi amor. I just wanted to do this” he smirked and frenched her deeply, wrapping his arms around her.

There was a crack of thunder as rain started to pour, soaking them. Richard broke the kiss and looked up, grinning. “WHOOOOOOOOO!!” he yelled and lifted his arms. “How I love the rain!”

Megan chuckled and took his face in her hands and kissed him deeply. “You nut”

“I am” he smiled and knelt, setting his pack on the ground, taking a bottle out, and opening the top. As the rain filled it up, Megan knelt next to him, opening a bottle of her own. She looked into his eyes and smiled. “What?” he said.

“Just admiring” she reached out and fixed his shirt collar, falling silent.

“Something is up Megan, please, tell me.” Richard pleaded, closing the bottle, half full, and placing it upon the ground, taking her hands in his.

“I just…..I want to…..” she looked into his eyes.

Richard sighed and broke eye contact. “We’ve been over this sweetheart.” He kissed her hands. “We can't risk it” He caressed her hand with his cheek.

“I know….I just......” She said and held his cheek.

Richard looked into her eyes. “Just the fact that you’ve chosen to stay with me is enough……" he said and brought her into his arms, kissing her forehead "the fact that I can call you mine and hold you in my arms…..to watch you fall asleep by my side and be peaceful…..that’s enough for me…..you don’t have to sleep with me.”

“I know I don’t HAVE to my love” she nuzzled his neck. “I want to.”

Richard didn’t know what to say to her. They had been celibate for a while, keeping her safe…especially after the first scare of a pregnancy. True they wanted to become intimate once more but sometimes you have to give up something you want for the sake of a higher purpose…..life.

sophie and john were near to thier camp when john stopped. "john whats wrong you ok?" "sophie its only 5 minutes away you can go on" he smiled. "but what about you?" she asked "I'm not going back, besides i don't think they will welcome me with open arms" "but john, its the same for me too, we can do this together" she smiled. "I'm on my own journey now." he smiled back. sophie nodded and then hugged him, "just be careful john, i might not be about next time" as she let go off him and watched him walk off, john turned round in the distance and waved goodbye. is this the last we will see of john?

meanwhile ben was in his tent. "what you got there?" asked alex as she came into bens tent. "sophies file" as he sat there reading, alex sat down. "you really love her don't you?" she asked. ben looked up "you know she was a teacher, well she helped children @ school" he smiled. "you never answer a question dad!" said alex. ben closed sophies file and and put it on his bed. "johns not returned yet" said alex but ben looked over at her coldy and got up and stormed out the tent.
richard and megan had returned to camp arm in arm happy smiling then richard saw ben come out of his tent. "ben whats wrong?" "wheres ryan?" asked ben. "he's in his tent are you...." ben interupts him "its time to get them" "but you said tomorrow" said richard. "jacob told me it has to happen now" "look what happend out there, did john........" "john had a accident" as ben starts walking away from richard. "RYAN!" HE SHOUTED across the camp.
"yes sir" as ryan got up from near his tent, "if you leave right now, how long will it take to reach there camp?" ben asked standing infront of ryan. "if i take my 10 best we can set off and reach there by nightfall" replied ryan, as richard had walked over too. megan kept watch from a distants. "then you better get going!" demanded ben "ben wait we moving the scedule to early, what if juliet is not ready in time?" "then we take all there women" he raised his voice. richard just stared at ben confused "what was ben playing at?" in his mind. " and will sort out the ones we need later." "and the men?" asked ryan to ben, ben looked over @ ryan "if ne of them are stupid enough to get in your way kill them....." ryan nodded as ben walked off. megan ran over to richard. and alex went after her father. "your just doing this coz of her aren't u?" ben was still walking ignoring the question yet again. alex stopped "where are you going?" as he started to walk into the jungle. "im taking a detour" as he went off into the jungle.

"sophie" as a crowd formed around her. jana pushed thro the crowd "what are you doing back here?!?.........i thought you made your choice" she asked sophie looked down to the ground. "he's not the man i thought he was" "well we all could of told you that" she snapped back. "hey not now!" shouted jack as he walked over and juliet stood next to jack, "its time we need to tell them." said juliet "tell us what?" asked sayid
"couple of nights ago juliet told me her plan with ben, about taking the pregnant women, so we organised something"said jack. "like what?" asked sayid curious. "do it danielle" said jack as she walked out from the jungle and pulled out a box and triggered sum explosive. the whole crowd shook up frightend. "whats the point in hiding?, they just gonna keep coming back, so i went out and found sum help" he looks over to danielle. "and for the past few days shes been bringing dyanmite to us from the black rock, for the very 1st time we know excatly what they want and when they coming to get it, and they have no idea! and were gonna be waiting for them, so juliet is gonna mark the tents with the white rocks just like she was told to, but theres not gonna be pregnant women in there we gonna use this" as he pointed to the dynamite. "so we stop hiding, we stop running we stop living in fear of them beacuse when they show up were gonna blow them all to hell."

ben was walking back to the death pit, he looked down and saw there was no john, he panicked then thought about richard telling him sophie running off her last words were "john!". "she must of saved him" he thought to himself. he grabbed a walkie out "ryan you there?" he asked. "yeah we are now on our way" "good " he smirked. "i'll meet you there"

danielle interupted jacks little speech, "they coming now!" she said, " i saw sum leaving not so long ago" "then we have to be quick" said jack, as he started to demanded orders to ppl. jana looked over @ sophie "you know the reason why they are coming now is because of you" as she shuffed her way past her. jack walked over to sophie "im gonna need your help" he asked "and i think by doing this they will be friends with you again" sophie nodded "what you want me to do?" she asked.

ben was in the jungle he caught up with ryan and his team, they were watching the losties @ there camp, "as soon as that sunsets, we go!" he said looking through sum binoculars. ben was trying to search for sophie he couldn't spot her, so he started to walk off "where you going?" asked tom "i think we know" said ryan to tom.
ben was on his own he wanted to know if sophie was there. he kept watching he couldn't spot her. "what if shes still in the jungle, what if shes hurt what if shes lost (lol)" he thought in his mind.
he then heard a twig snap behind him. as he turned round he pulled out his gun and shot the person behind him. his eyes widen up like a rabbit in headlights as he watched.........................................................................................
sophie collapse on the floor.



ben ran over to her and put her in his arms "sophie........im so sorry" he said terrifed of what he had done.

"what was that?" said sayid looking at jack. as they heard a gunshot. jack looked round the camp. "sophie!" he shouted. jack ran after the sound as sayid grabbed his rifle charlotte and jana saw what was going on and ran after them.

"get away from her" screamed jack as he saw sophie on the floor with ben. ben didn't move he couldn't leave her she was dying. sayid grabbed ben and pinned him on the floor. "sophie can you hear me?" asked jack, charlotte screamed as she saw a possible dead sophie. jack turned round "charlotte get juliet! CHARLOTTE! NOW BRING MEDICAL SUPPLYS" charlotte ran back to camp. jana stood there shocked too. ben shot sophie?
ben screamed "can you help her?" "SHUT UP" SHOUTED JACK as he was trying to stop the bleeding..................................

Richard looked over at Megan as she ran over to him and held her in his arms. He kissed her forehead as she watched the men disperse. She looked up at him.

“I don’t want you go” she said as a tear slid down her cheek. Richard took her hand and brought her to his tent where he sat her down then squatted in front of her, still holding her hands.

“Look, I know you don’t trust Ben….”

“And you DO?” she interrupted then stood, pacing as she ran her hands over her face. “In the beginning everything was….well….it was different. But they know so much now. They’ve seen how we live and even managed to get past the security posts.”

“Don’t you have trust in me?” he asked, hurt.

She stopped and went to him. “I do Richard….I do trust you…..I just don’t trust Ben making decisions in an emotional state.”

“Megan you have to understand something.” He sighed and looked into her eyes. “He lost the woman he loves and he’s going after her. If you left me….I…I’d be emotional too. I’d do everything in my power to get you back. I love you that much……..so when Ben asks me to do these things….I have to look past his actions to the emotion that drove him to take that action.” He kissed her hands.

“Doesn’t mean I have to like it” she pouted. “Who’s to say you won’t return to me.” She ran a hand over his cheek where he took it in his hands once more.

“I will return.” He reached into his pocket and took out a butterfly necklace on a black chord. “I made this for you out of a shell I took from the beach. When I came across it, it reminded me of you…..how the sun shone off of it and made it shine.” He folded it into her hands.



Tears fell down her face as she clung to him, kissing his cheeks, forehead, chin, and lips. “Come home to me.” She whispered as she placed the necklace back into his hands. “You keep it until you come back to me and give it to me then.”

“I promise” he smiled and kissed her deeply back.



FLASH FORWARD

Richard sat against a tree and ran his finger over the lines of the necklace that lay in his hands. He sighed and ran his finger along his sniper rifle that lay next to his legs. He tied the necklace on the scope and wrapped it around so it didn’t dangle.

“For you Megan…I do this for you…” he said softly and to himself.

"juliet is on her way with hurley," said charlotte, "hurley?" said jack as he was still holding down on the wound. "yeah they bringin the van juliet said sumthing about a medical station" "charlotte hold down for me" charlotte helped jack hold down on the wound.
ben was hating himself for what he had done. then he thought van? what van? not the van? the one he left his father to die in. as then hurley had pulled up with juliet. juliet jumped out and helped jack lift sophie in the van. "where we going?" he asked to juliet, "we can save her." she smiled "trust me" jack smiled back. "sayid his coming with us" "what?" snapped sayid. "SAYID we don't have time for this." "please i need to be with her" ben mumbled as his face was in the earth.
sayid grabbed him and threw in to the van and shut the door on him. "which way?" asked hurley for directions. "this way" as she pointed .
sayid jana and charlotte watched them drive off.

juliet quickly opened the hatch doors and ben and jack carried sophie threw. "what happend out there?" jack snapped @ ben, "just save her please." as juliet and jack took her in the operating room. ben stood outside waiting as jack came back and handed a gun to hurley, "if he's ne trouble shoot him" he ordered to hurley, as he rushed back in the room.

hours had passed and ben was sitting on the floor. jack and juliet came out. "is she okay?" he asked as he quickly got up, jack just stared @ him and went over to hurley. "juliet?!?!" he asked "im sorry ben........." "no........ no.....don't say that." as juliet saw tears in bens eyes. she could see he was generally upset. "i want to see her" he asked juliet pushed the door open and let him through. jack started to walk over. "jack leave him, let him be with her. then you can do what you want with him" jack nodded and leant against the wall. "its my fault if i hadn't.............."

jack has flashback

jack walked over to sophie "im gonna need your help" he asked "and i think by doing this they will be friends with you again" sophie nodded "what you want me to do?" she asked. "go and find ben, distract him, then we can ambush them."
"how?" she asked. "will follow your trail" he grinned. "ok" she said as she headed to her old tent.


back to real moment

off told her to go she wouldn't be dead" he slumped on the floor. "jack don't blame yourself" said juliet reassuring him.


ben walked in shaking as he saw her laying there. he walk towards her and looked at her face she looked peaceful then he looked down to her chest and saw all the mess he caused. "im sooooo sorry" he cried as he brokedown in tears. "it was an accident, i will never forgive myself" he mumbled as he laid his head on her body, sobbing onto her. "it was an accident" he repeated himself again and again. "i love you" he said.

"he's been in there ages" said jack, "he will come out when hes ready jack" replied juliet as they still waited for ben

ben had closed his eyes by now kinda laying next to her, he couldn't leave her. suddenly sophie woke up. she looked over @ ben who hadn't noticed she woke up and was breathing. she moved her arm and stroked his head/hair. he opened his eyes and jump up it had frightend him "sophie?" he whispered, she smiled. "but your dead?" he asked puzzled. "jacob!" she responded.....................................................................................

Richard winced and stood, his legs had cramped up. He walked over to Pyrce and kicked his boot. “Has Ben given the signal yet?”

Pyrce looked up, ticked off. “No, now sit your ass down and shut the f**k up!”

Richard grabbed him by the collar and pulled him to his feet and slammed him against the tree trunk. “I’ve had enough of you thinking you are so high and mighty JUST because Ben asked YOU to get men together.” He slammed him again. “And now we’re to follow YOU, a mere immigrant to this island while those of us who are born natives have to follow your pathetic orders.” He threw him against the ground, sneered and spit on him. He then walked to the others. “I say f**k Ben’s plan……I’m going home.” He grabbed his walkie and pressed the button “Ben? Ben are you there?”

Those loyal to Richard and Jacob started to get up themselves but fell flat on their butts as a shot rang out through the trees. Richard stopped in his tracks, gasping, dropping the walkie, taking his finger off the button. He looked down at his side and saw his shirt becoming stained with blood. He turned around, spitting blood out to the side. “You never could aim Greg” he said and in one movement, took his pistol out from the back of his pants and shot him dead in the forehead. Immediately those loyal to Ben took out their firearms and pointed them at Richard.

Megan sat around the fire pit, stirring her soup. She looked around at all the other women. She could stand it anymore. She stood, going to her tent and to her trunk. She opened it to reveal the pistol Richard had given to her. She picked it up, checking the barrel for bullets. She grabbed her ammunition box and shoved some bullets in her pocket, placing the pistol in her pants. She then grabbed her bag and put a few water bottles in it along with some first aid fixings. She then started out of the camp when a woman stopped her.

“Where the hell do you think you’re going?”

“I don’t like the feeling of Ben sending our men out there and not accompanying them.” She brushed past her.

“Ben gave strict orders for all women to stay behind.” She grabbed Megan’s arm and turned her around.

“I answer to one man and one man only” Megan said, jerking her arm away from the grasp.

“Look Richard is not in any way in a power position.”

“I’m not talking about Richard…..I’m talking about Jacob.” She said and walked off.

Richard clenched his jaw and lowered his gun. As the others surrounding him started to lower theirs, he quickly raised his back up and shot a few, turning around as he did so. He was jumped from behind and was starting to get hit. He was able to throw him off but more kept coming and coming. They piled onto him and forced him to the ground. One guy took out a knife and held it to his neck.

“Mutiny is NOT an option” he sneered and spit in his face. Richard closed his eyes in reaction.

“Who said anything about it being mutiny.” Richard said as he was hit in the stomach. He jerked, slicing his skin along the blade.

“Acting against orders…..sounds like mutiny to me” he said as he pressed the blade further into Richard’s neck.

Richard started to cough for air, blade cutting deeper. “I’m acting on some else’s orders.” He spat blood into his opponents face. “It’s time for another Purge” he grinned, teeth covered with blood.
