Like a larger version of the Bocke thread? Don't even ask. Well - no. It's serious. NC-17 rated fiction of people's fantasies, for example. If Ashli's (private) blog is worse - not sure I want to know!  Edith - yes, I'm a lurker. You could post some of my avatars/banners there if you want (and please do add them to the official photo gallery). I'll gladly upload the avis and any art form you have to the gallery. I usually don't do that in henrygalelovers, only my own. Nowadays,, this board is so active that I may miss the art that I need to upload, please send me a pm or an e-mail with a link to your art work and I'll post them. And this message is for everybody who wants to have his or her artwork up on his gallery. The Web site has a lot of traffic. |

Eh, that was just the most extreme example. There's a bit of an influx of that right now, but on whole there's not a lot. People are too shy ;D While there are more suggestive appreciative comments than you'd see here, by and large it's just a gathering site for constant Michael devotion, in whatever form. It's an interesting place. (Aaaand back to topic ) (Oh and ashli and edith, you know, I've been told lately that I should get a blog. ...A blog is a tricky thing. The parameters for how personal to be, what tone to take; whether it's something I could commit to. (Constant (or at least regular) updates are a must, I've learned.)  ) |

Bobdoc beats me to it here. There are a lot of wallpaper and avi posting, some fanfic. In fact, there are some amazing fanfic and some nc-17 ones as well. There are role-playing games. I belong to 2 of those. I play Rose, Walt, Danny Picket, Ben in of them and Isabel, Danny Picket, Karl, and I am thinking of playing Alex in the other. We don't follow cannon too closely. It's a great place to meet great friends. My daughter is on LJ and has met a number of her "friends" personally. Its a place, like this one, where age doesn't matter. |

I don't view a lot of the fangirly posts, as I mostly just visit the Lost sections, the fancrazy stuff, the links, and the games sections. I see some of the Bocke stuff and laugh a bit at how insane they get, and how it technically makes them write them out of character for the sake of romantic indulgences. So I'm in the roll my eyes/laugh catagory, as well as the catagory where I appreciate him for his work and his upstanding character as a person. But the girly stuff is a very small part of the content I visit around here, and isn't enough to effect my view on the place. oh sorry lol  ;DI mean for the Bocke story rofl |
