One can be confident, but not overly hyper. It depends on many variables. I knew folks that were really quite and shy, but once they got on stage...WOW, like Edith pointed out. I've been away from the theatre scene for years now so I can't say. To chip in...look at Al Pacino...He's a very quite kinda guy in person, almost shy. He's also the complete opposite of the roles he plays. When I saw him on Inside The Actors Studio...I was like...wow...he's shy...and soft spoken...He's a darn good actor!
Jeremy Brett, who played Sherlock Holmes for years and was an accomplished stage actor, was an outgoing kinda of guy. He wasn't loud or boisterous or Robin Williams hyper, but he was a fun kinda fellow that would have everyone around him laughing. He was the opposite of Pacino. Of course as Jeremy's illness got worse (he was bi-polar which grew worse after the death of his second wife) he changed, but he still tried to keep everyone around him in stitches...literally.

well um gee... mom male version of your mom ...er...brain bleach? Sorry, don't know what 'brain bleach' means. I'm really out of it in a lot respects in terms of pop culture and slang. Yeah, I know it's sounds weird, and I suppose it might seem insulting but I'll just post a comparison and maybe folks will think I'm way off, but I see a lot of similarities (and some difference sure, outside the gender thing). But see what you think. I'll leave this photo up for a while then remove, out of respect to both individuals — ha!

Some people may stumble on the thread and not know what you are talking about. I do see a resemblance. The shape of their face, the lips, and eyes are practically the same. Amazing.

Means just what it says . I actually pick the slang as I go. My students use it a lot and I find if I'm not connected, well I'm out of touch; hence, the urban dictionary... *mouth drops at pics* Wow! You weren't kidding. The resemblance is remarkable! Like Edith said, the face, lips, and eyes are very similar. Your mom is pretty! I don't see it as insulting since these sorts of things happen all the time!

I found a heck of a connection a week ago, and just remembered it today. In the Philadelphia Inquirer magazine section, there was a brief mention of Blake Bashoff, a.k.a Kaaarrrl. From www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/columnists/20080130_Dan_Gross__Quite_frankly__Stephen_A_s_fired.htmlI only highlighted the first part because it relates to me. I attended George Washington High in Philadelphia, and my freshman year was 1999. He graduated in the spring of that year, I came in in the fall. Although he left just before I got there- I attended the same high school as an actor who semi-regularly acts with Michael himself did.

Hi,
my connection is simple.....on Tuesday 29, August 06 I saw in Stratford on Avon in "The Swan" "Anthony and Cleopatra" with Patrick Stewart, before I enjoyed Sat.26 August 06 in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Patrick in "The Tempest" , the same event he did with Carrie Preston in N.Y. and one of Michael`s fav. play, he wants to create.
greetings
Martina P.S. I forgot, I met Sally Field during "Steel Magnolias" on the Berlinale, she shares my birthday and had that presenter part with Michael on the Emmys 2001

My new connection: I will attend "The Colbert Report" tomorrow and see Stephen Colbert- who was a fellow 2007 Emmy nominee with Michael, they both lost[ ] they were both in the same theater that night, and they both played criminals on episodes of Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

Ooo, good one! I loved the episode with Stephen. It was the first time I saw him outside of his Colbert persona. Have fun at the show!

We are now all connected to Micheal because we can say "I am on the same fan board with a girl whose boss knows the Asda guy from X Factor who met Sharon Osbourne who interviewed Richard Roxburgh who starred with Shuler Hensley in Van Helsing who starred with Michael in zorro 2!!!!!!!!"
