Omg, I've just found out: The director of 'Saw' filmed a movie in my hometown. If only I could've asked him about Michael!

Erm, well. *thinks* I met Dominic Monaghan once so that's two degrees between me and Lost in general... Nah, I can't compete with some of my fellow board members.

I think those of us who got our questions answered in the letter Edith posted yesterday have a pretty close "Six Degrees of Michael" connection to add.

Outside this board, the closest it comes was the Carrie was at Guthrie for a performance with Patrick Stewart way back in the old days when the theater wasn't in its blue monstrosity overlooking and overhanging the Mississippi. I never went and if I had I woudn't have had a clue about her. I was only interested in the sense that I once put my hands up to Stewart's handprint in a theater museum in London and realized his hand was twice the length of mine. Almost everyone's there were, including the women's. Which led me to conclude that it helps to have large hands in the theater, I suppose, so people can see them on the stage. LOL!

The only thing I remember is he told my friends off for having a banner saying they loved Legolas and said no one had a banner saying they loved Merry. ;D

awww...I always preferred Merry, myself. I'll give Dom the Hobbit love he craves!! I guess the closest I've gotten was being at several Irish sites that Jorge had been to, and a fish n' chips shop that Terry O'Quin had been to. Sad, I know. I had to go all the way to Ireland just to touch the same ground as the Lost cast.

We are now all connected to Micheal because we can say "I am on the same fan board with a girl whose boss knows the Asda guy from X Factor who met Sharon Osbourne who interviewed Richard Roxburgh who starred with Shuler Hensley in Van Helsing who starred with Michael in zorro 2!!!!!!!!" And that, my dear, says it ALL.

I'm excited! The director who I'll be auditioning for acted and directed plays at the Aquila Theater in NYC (Since they were Shakespeare plays, I'm betting Michael saw at least one of them; It'd be weird if Michael knew him!) and like Michael, was a SpringboardNYC mentor in 2006, (I think Michael was in 2007, though). I didn't expect that the director would be from NYC! It's community theater in the South! I'm hoping Michael's NYC theatre connection to him will mean good karma for me! Yes, it's good sign. In any case, it's positive concurrence
