For all those who've seen Michael in the X-Files Sunshine Days, isn't he adorable/amazing. Those who have'nt seen him in this dont know what they're missing. One of my favorite all time television shows. Every Michael fan should seriously see this episode. For those interested it's on youtube in five parts. search michael emerson sunshine days.

Isobel, love your banner! I seen this episode once a long time ago but I'd love to see it again now as I can't remember anything about it! When Chris Carter bowed to network execs demands to kill off the Lone Gunmen so they wouldn't have to hear from fans about wanting the show, TLG back on the air, he did himself in!!! I joined a number of fans who have taken a vow never to watch anything with Chris Carter's name on it, not to buy any related merchandise, to put up a big pic of the boys on our websites (which Fox hates!!) and finally only to watch or tape ONLY the episodes directly pertaining to the LG! I will make an exception and this is only for ME that I will do this! So when they rerun Sunshine Days, I will see it! If any of you would like to join the boycott, please do! You NEVER seen Joss Wheden fall under to any execs and believe me they tried! Chris you are a BIG Loser!   |

This is the only one of his famed TV apperances I can remember where he's not really playing a killer or villain- of course that may change with Ben, but for now he's labeled as the bad guy. He was bad in The Practice, the Law and Orders, Without a Trace, and The Inside, but this is probably the most sympathetic pre Lost part he was given.

Yes, this was the first thing I ever saw him in. He has such an incredible range of facial expressions. He does distress so well - and when he smiles (*falls over*)...

If you are in the UK and have Sky or cable then, by my calculations, this episode should be on about 15th June (give or take a day or two). X-Files is being shown every weekday on FX beginning at 4pm (and FX+ at 5pm)
Plus, as an added bonus you can actually get to see the same episode 4 times over two days, because they repeat the previous episode each day before the next one, and then it's on FX+ an hour later on both days.
I have set my series link to record the show from now onwards, just so I don't forget about it.

totally adorable would be an understatement! when he was crouched down behind that wall looking all scared? 'melts' sooooooo damn cute. and yes once again an awe inspiring performance. its amazing seeing him looking so vulnerable and innocent when we all know he can change to a totally creepy killer type character with one single change in voice tone or facial expression. the guys talent is immense ;D
