I thought there was a scene missing when I watched this ep coz one minute he's digging the grave and the next scene he's still digging but with a bleeding nose I kept wondering if i'd missed something LOL! Why did they cut it out? Actually i'm glad coz I hate seeing Ben hurt it makes me cry LOL I've heard that Lost films enough to make a feature-length movie. It's edited to fit the hour plus commercials. Which reminds me, is it next week that the show is nine minutes longer?

I'm not certain on that, Caz, but one ep is going to be longer. Wish I could think which is to be. I thought next week, but I could be thinking of another upcoming ep. Bottom line, watch the TV listings.

Next week's episode is actually just going to be 6 minutes longer from 9 pm to 10:06, just like The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham. So that should tell you something.

Wow. You know, often when you expect something to be awesome you might me disappointed because your expectations were soooo high... It's great how with ME's performances that never happens! The "confession" made me cry... Maybe I imagined it, but I thought I could hear a chourus of "AAAWWWW I'LL HAVE YOU!!!!!!" coming from somewhere (and I'm sure it didn't come only from this board) Anyway, I loved the episode. And I totally agree on the Jacob thing lostali and Edith were discussing... Richard said - When Jacob touches you, it makes you special. I know I"m going to come off rude, but this is bothering me. EVERYONE and their mom keeps saying what special gift does so and so have now, who's gonna live forever, . I think so many people are not listening to the words. Richard is alive becasue Jacob made him that way specifically. He touched Hurley, Jack and the others to get them to the island. It's been bothering me too... he doesn't age because Jacob "gave him a gift". Is it so difficult to understand? Maybe he needed one guy for a looooong job... whatever it is that Richard has been doing all this time ;D

Spoilers for Recon below In light of this week's ep, it looks like Smocke's offer to Ben was indeed one big setup. He said his group would be at the Hydra island, but Widmore was really there - so he was probably setting Ben up to find Widmore, and have them take each other out. That would mean he knew Widmore was coming ahead of time as well. It's either that, or he really was planning to get to the Hydra while he was talking to Ben, but he found out about Widmore later and then went to plan B with Sawyer.

Bobdoc are you sure it's longer coz I looked in the tv guide and it's still in it's hour time slot.... Unless there's going to be less adverts?

I really loved that episode. Michael was great as always and I loved the scene between Ben and Ilana. I thought, they would shoot at each other and then he nearly cried. That was a surprise for me.
