"thin" in the sense of having extremely specialized, as she said "refined" tastes - narrowing out all the lesser stuff.  |

I'm suggesting this because this word has the same translation as "thin" in Italian but "subtle" has a double meaning (thay can be easily confused ) If not, let me know coz I would use it LOL  Btw - I love jazz too  - Thanx henryrocks!!  |

I'm a little jealous. I was at Jacksonville Actor's Theater basically the same time he was (I was there from 88 to 92 and he was there from 86 to 93). We only directly worked together one time that I remember, and that was on MacBeth in the park. I still remember him fussing around backstage with all manner of weird instruments, and there was something he use to bow oddly through a mike to make a foleyed owl noise every night. I worked A Day in the Death of Joe Egg a few times, which he was in, and I saw him do Laughing Wild a few different nights. He did it with Valerie Anthony and Ian Mairs. Oh, there was also a Ghosts of Christmas show (A Christmas Carol knock-off just concentrating on the ghosts) that I spent in a big-a**ed foam suit as the Ghost of Christmas Present that he did voiceovers for. He also taught a bit, too. I may have posted it already, but it took me like two of the Henry Gale episodes before I realized it was even him, then I sorta marked out. foleyed, my guess is, refers to making sound effects, as in he used a bow in a manner to create a sound like an owl. But marked out? Beats me.
