First of all - do disregard the above post of mine. Other imdb posters took the time to research this guy's history - and he does say similar things about other celebrities; that they have "horrible" breath, etc. Moving on: "March 20 I met him in New York on Thursday and he is an incredibley nice man. Me and a friend were standing at the tkts booth buying tickets for that night. We were in a hurry as it was around 730 and we hadn't really decided what to go and see. My friend was buying the ticket and as I turned around I saw him standing right behind us. I tried to tell my friend but she couldn't hear what I was saying so as we walked away I told her. She found her note pad and we waited for him to buy his tickets. So I went up to him and said "excuse me, you're in Lost aren't you?" He would have been in as much of a hurry as we were but he was really nice, he signed the book for me and I had my picure taken with him. He was asking what we were going to see. As he walked away me and my friend were obviously talking about it and she turned around and saw him smiling at us. I was high all night and I'm so happy I met him. He could have easily said that he was in a hurry and walked away. Really really nice guy and whats more he understood me! Which doesn't happen much in America as I have a geordie accent (north east England)" imdb.com/name/nm0256237/board/flat/68337269Ack! If I ever turned around and saw Michael standing right behind me... I would lose it. Even worse if I turned around to see him smiling at me. ^^^ OMG This is incredible!! ;D I think I would fall to the ground as well!

New addition to IMDb... Mar 25 2007 by cynu40 Click here for post"I knew him when... I really did. I was doing theatre and commercial work in Jacksonville, Florida. We both performed at Theatre Jacksonville, and he was such an amazingly bright and talented guy then (1987 or so). I just happened to catch him playing Hinks on "The Practice," and told my boyfriend, hey--I know that guy--and he didn't believe me! I was living in Los Angeles at the time, and a few nights later I saw Michael out at one of my favorite restaurants in the Valley. I told my boyfriend, "there's Michael from Jacksonville...the guy I told you I know who was on "The Practice." He said I was full of *beep* I walked across the restaurant and said hello to him. He actually remembered me after so many years! At that point, he'd only done one episode of "The Practice" and was super excited, because David Kelly wanted to write more episodes for him. We had a nice little chat, and I wished him well. Needless to say, my b.f. was flabbergasted! I'm SO GLAD to see how well he's been doing. He was really such a nice, kind and smart guy. Someone to really admire."

"I was invited to the Dragon Club in Honolulu -late night jazz club by a good friend of mine. And then hey, but who could that be sitting at the bar, by my inebriated friend but the leader of the "others". I bought his wife and he a round and he reached around and thanked me. He is so gracious. He looked at me, I knew I might have appeared to be a bit confused (the name, is it Henry, Ben) then he said his name was Michael. He is really a nice guy, not at all evil." lostwiki.abc.com/page/Michael+EmersonHaven't posted in here for awhile.

"Fun fact - About 6 years ago I worked with Michael Emerson's (Ben) wife in a play at Lincoln Center. He was doing a lot of Off B'way work then and hug out around the theatre where we were a lot so I got to know him a bit. They had a few parties at their place too. He is such a nice guy and not at all creepy in person. He is also a gifted visual artist - very detailed pencil drawings/sketches - as a hobby. I am very happy to see him have such success now." www.yehoodi.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=72132&start=1350&sid=dfd817fcd9483b27ece7b8346200fa98Reeeeally need to ask him for an illustration now, esp. since it's a hobby of his.

And in regards to the snapshot of him and the baby: "Ironically, one week before the airing date, we were at Tamura's, a fine liquor store, and we ran into Michael Emerson! Mike went up and introduced Amanda to him and he was very nice and friendly. I asked if we could take a photo of him holding her. He kindly agreed." tygerus.com/Amanda's%20Lost%20Debute.htm A liquor store, interesting.

It is a cool link, isn't it? Funny how they covered Amanda in rasberry jam and cream cheese for the birth scene, and used a wine bottle to compare her size for auditions and then the Lost guys made all the other prospectees do that too! Edith, I have strange phrases I like to Google, like "met him" "Michael Emerson"; "me and Michael Emerson"; "Michael Emerson was my/was there"; etc. This came out of, "into Michael Emerson" (as in, ran into him).
