Despite the terrible outcome, it was fun to catch up on your commentary from last night. I wish I could have joined in. I did have such a good feeling leading into the show, but I guess that doesn't count for much. Michael WILL have his day, never fear - if not for Lost then for his next big project. He's too much of a talent NOT to be recognized!! Shame about the show losing too. I didn't see a single cast member in the audience, and don't have E!, so I didn't even get the thrill of seeing Foxy in a tux. If anybody knows where to go for photos of them, please let me know!! I have to say that Carrie's dress is absolutely GORGEOUS. I love it and it shows what a classy lady she is - but we already knew that, right?? Also disappointed for House and Dexter. Seems 'Mad Men' is the show to beat these days. And come on, Jeff Probst over Tom Bergeron S-t-u-p-i-d, that's what that is. At least it wasn't Seacrest * cringes at the possibility* A toast to all of you who sent your positive thoughts to our Beloved, and here's to him being recognized next year. I have no doubt Ben will have some juicy scenes next season that will give him another nomination. Let's stay positive.

PS - I totally missed Michael's reaction to his loss as well...does anybody have a clip of the announcement? I recorded the entire show, but have not had the chance to view it. I was not home yesterday, nor did I watch any TV. It was for the best. I didn't have to be upset.

It's definitely upsetting, but also really nice to have a support group in this forum to vent to!!

I waited Emmy's day because I wanted to make a calendar for October using pictures of Michael's victory. ALAS! If my mum will be OK (cross my fingers!) I try to make our usual calendar up to the end of September. The life will go on.

I think that "Lost" perhaps is a tv movie with too success... and it's obviously that Michael is the best character, perhaps he don't need an award...(or perhaps it's my way to find some consolation). I haven't seen the ceremony but I like the pictures, the jacket of Michael seems an smoking but he wears tie and not bow-tie or ribbon, I like it. And the Carrie's dress is beautiful . I hope that we can hear the words of Michael speaking about his loss. I'm sure (I hope) that we are more sad than him.

Carrie's dress is gorgeous!! The picture she had totally doesn't compare. They are one good looking couple.

Apparently neither Foxy nor Ian attended the Emmy's. So it was a bust all around.
