jana wasn't getting much of what was going on around her.
she was shaking terribly, the wound in her stomach spilling blood
while tears ran down her face. she couldn't think nor move as she stared
up at the high trees, feeling the pain all over her body, but then again
she was as numb as one could be. she tried to look around, but couldn't
as she heard another loud noise and voices she couldn't focus on anymore.
help me.. was the only thing she could think of as jack suddenly
came into view. her sight was blurry, but she recognized him nonetheless.
and charlie. charlie was there, too. but more she couldn't figure out
as she became paler and paler.
'we need to stop the bleeding and get the bullet out!' jack said, seeing the seriousness of
jana's wound and got his shirt off, for he didn't have anything with
him to stop the bleeding.
'oh my god..' kate whispered, shocked by the scene as she stared down
at charlie and jack who were both around jana. sawyer was muttering his
usually curses under his breath as he watched ryan dead on the ground.
suddenly, sayid pushed jack and charlie aside and lifted jana up in his arms,
her body almost limp. 'sayid! what are you-' - 'I'll bring her back to camp.'
he said determined. 'we don't have the things here you need to help her.
and I won't let someone die on me again.' and with that he started walking towards
their camp again.

"what did he say to you?" - ben asked
"nothing. besides ben if he wanted you to hear you would of stayed in there" - she snapped back
ben just glared back at her, he hated having to fight with her all the time. but he knew it was him that had caused it.
"who's megan?" - asked sophie
"why?" - ben asked back.
"becoz jacob mentioned her!" - sophie
"shes one of my ppl, shes richards lover."
"richards?" said sophie, she smirked. she knew something that none off them didn't knew. she could use this to her advantage.
megan was looking around as she took a drink. she noticed ben and sophie arriving in the distances "richard" she shouted as she pointed over to them. richard walked over aswell as megan.
"everything went ok?" - asked richard
"everythings fine" - said ben smiling at sophie who just glared back at him, which made him drop his smile on his face.
"its good to see you again" - richard said to sophie, but sophie just stared @ him. megan just glared back @ sophie, because the way sophie was being.
"so this is megan!" - said sophie. ben looked @ sophie funny. "whats she up too?" he thought in his mind.
"yes" he nodded. sophie then looked @ ben
"is there ne where i can rest?" - sophie asked.
"this way!" as he held her hand. but she quickly let go, so ben pointed in a direction. sophie wandered off but then turned round.
"Oh by the way CONGRATULATIONS BEN your gonna be a daddy..............oh and i should congratulate you too richard!" - sophie
"what?" - said richard as sophie turned back round and headed off to go and rest. ben stood there gobsmacked as he looked at sophie then to richard then to megan.
"what does she mean megan?"........................................

Charlotte followed Sayid who was walking through the jungle holding Jana in his arms."Please let her be okay!"she thought.She still felt sick because of all those things that had happened lately.Everything seemed so far away like it had happened weeks ago."But this isn´t the past, it´s the future"sighed Charlotte and suddenly turned around."Jack will Jana be fine?"she asked him.Jack looked away and shook his head slightly as if he wanted to get rid of his awful thoughts."Be honest!"she said feeling her eyes filling with tears again and tried to catch up with him.Jack stopped and looked at her "We just need to hurry, we have no time....Jana has no time!"he said and started walking again."Sayid can you walk a little faster!"he shouted.Sayid didn´t answer but uped the tempo.
Charlotte almost had to run now to keep up with them.Suddenly she had to think of Sophie, where was she?She had left with Jack and the others, but she wasn´t here now.
"We´re nearly there!"said Sawyer and began to run.And indeed the beautiful beach where they had build up their camp appeared a few mins later.
"Bring her in my tent!"shouted Jack."I´ll be right back!"he said and ran away.
"What happened?"asked Hurley interested."It´s Jana...."Charlotte responded absent-minded and followed Sayid into Jack´s tent.

Megan's mouth dropped as she watched Sophie walk off. She closed her mouth and looked at Richard.
"She just means congratulations on not getting killed." she said and turned, grabbing her bag. Richards hands took ahold of hers and he turned her to him.
"That is NOT what she meant." he glared into her eyes.
"Richard you're hurting me" she said trying to wriggle from his grasp but he just tightened it.
"Why weren't you going to tell me!" he said, becoming enraged.
"Because you'd react like this" she said, trying to pry his hands off.
"How the hell did you expect me to react otherwise!" he said and flung her aside.
Megan looked up at him as her eyes started to water.
"You better pray that you miscarry." he said and walked off.
Megan watched him leave then curled up, crying into her hands. She understood he wanted her to live.....that the baby and her had no chance......but she didn't know why he had to be so violent, especially since he wasn't a violent man.

the time they needed to get back to camp seemed to take forever.
at least jana felt like she was trapped in a whirl of pain, while all
the trees and bushes they passed was just a big blob of green for her.
where were they going? was she even walking herself?
she didn't get anything as she started losing consciousness,
her eyes falling shut the more blood she was losing.
'jana.. jana stay awake!'
she felt someone slapping her face softly, enough to make her open
her eyes again. 'can you hear me? stay awake!'
who was that?, she thought as she realized that all the moving has
stopped and that she was in a tent of someone. at least all the green
was gone. 'don't close your eyes.'
she tried really hard, but it got more and more difficult with every
second that passed...

'sayid, go away, I need some space!' jack almost yelled as he came back,
still shirtless with two bamboo sticks he had gotten from sun.
'jack, what are you-' - 'I have to get the bullet out. I'm afraid she won't
make it any longer if we let it in.' he looked at sayid whose arms were
almost entirely covered in jana's blood. he looked worried to death and
just sat there, staring from jack to jana and back. 'but-'
'I'll fix her, allright?'
jack looked at sayid, ready to get the bullet out of jana's stomach with
the bamboo sticks as he pushed her top up a little.
'allright? trust me sayid. now better leave and tell charlie to get some towels
and water for the wound. anyone who can help!'
he nodded and left the tent quickly 'charlie!'
but before she could even turn around, everyone near jack's tent could
hear jana scream in pain as the doctor was obviously pulling out the bullet.

sophie was sitting on the floor leaning her back against a tree on her own, drinking some water. ben walked over to her
"why did you do that?.......to get @ me?" he asked, but sophie just ignored him, ben bent down to her level and looked @ her.
"was that true? what you said!" - he asked
"yes ben, im carrying your child" - she snapped.
"our child" - ben replied, sophie looked away from him
"but how?............you miscarried." - he asked
"jacob, he must of saved both of us. i don't know ben" - she replied
"ok........well its good news ain't it? (he smiled) but you don't look happy, you still want it don't you?" - he said looking saddened
"i do ben, but i'm angry with you, you've hurt me" - she said as ben watched a tear fall down her cheek. he took his hand and wiped the tear away from her cheek.
"im hurting too.......when i see you like this" - he said.
"you done it ben" - she muttered @ him.
ben got up and walked away. he couldn't handle her like this, he needed to get away....................

"Right i need you to hold her hands!" ordered Jack without looking at charlotte."Jack i don´t know if i can.....!"said charlotte."Charlotte we have no time for stuff like this if you want jana to be okay you NEED to hold her hands now!"said Jack looking at her now."I can´t do my work if she´ll try to pull me away!"he added."So are you ready?"Jack asked."No"mumbled charlotte but held jana´s hands tight."Everything will be okay!"she told her trying to draw off the attention from what jack was doing but when he pulled out the bullet and jana screamed squezzing charlotte hands, charlotte had to look away.
"Okay fine we got it!"said jack."Give me the bandage quick!"he shouted."Jana let go off my hands, do you hear me?"said charlotte and pulled them away gently."Here you go!"she said as she gave him the bandage.
"Is she okay?"asked Sayid who came in helding the water and the towels."It worked.It just won´t stop bleeding.!"mumbled Jack.Sayid looked really worried and knelt down next to jana caressing her arm carefully.
charlotte helped jack to clean the wound and with the bandage."The bleeding is better now!"sighed Jack a few minutes later."Jana needs to rest now!"he said as he got up."I won´t leave her alone!"told sayid determined."Okay you can stay, c´mon charlotte!"said jack and walked out of the tent."Please get better!"mumbled charlotte with tears in her eyes and followed jack.
"Jack wait!"shouted charlotte and catched up with him."Will she be okay?"she asked."If she makes it through the night she´ll will be fine!"he answered washing his hands in a little bucket."Okay"smiled charlotte."Is everything okay?"asked jack because she was still standing there.
"Where´s Sophie?"asked charlotte and looked at jack who looked pretty uneasy at once."Jack tell me where is she?"said charlotte raising her voice.
"Sit down, i´ll tell you!"said Jack and walked down the beach.charlotte followed him worried, jack wasn´t exactly the type for serious chit chats and he usually never took the time to explain things to people real clear.
"WHAT?"shouted charlotte a few minutes later and jumped up again furiously trying to get rid off all the sand on her trousers.
"Charlotte calm down!"said Jack and got up too."You should have stopped her.It´s your fault!"she shouted angry.
"i told you Sophie had practically no choice, Ben told her that he would order to kill jana and you if she wouldn´t go with him!"explained Jack."No you could have managed you just didnt care!And Ryan tried to kill us though, Ben ordered it!And maybe he succeed.......!"shouted charlotte and started crying.
"Listen we didn´t know that Ben would order it no matter what Sophie would do!"said Jack trying to remain calm as he grabbed her arm.charlotte tried to pull off."But you know Ben, you know him, right?You know that he´s never telling the truth, you should have noticed.you should have stopped him!"she cried and let jack hold her.

Megan looked around at everyone as they stared in her direction. "What the hell do you care!" she screamed at them which caused them to snap out of their daze and carry on with the task they were attending to. She turned to her bag and picked it up on her shoulder. She winced and looked down at her wrists that were now red and stinging. She wiped her tears away then headed over to the outside of the camp where she started to set herself up.
Richard muttered to himself as he threw his things upon the ground. He didn't understand why he was so angry. But believe it or not he wasn't mad at her....he was mad at himself. He had promised her that no harm would EVER come to her and that he'd support her through sickness and health until the day he died. He had vowed that....yet he was the one that caused her pain. Sicknes and health......sickness and health.......he sighed and kneeled, unpacking his bag and setting himself up.

jana had lost her consciousness at some point. she had lost a lot of blood and all the pain
had made her mind go black after a while, which was probably better for her own sake, since
the pain had hardly been bearable for her.
now that the bullet was out and her wound bandaged, jana looked quite pale as she was
laying in jack's tent, sayid by her side and chewing on some ananas salad.
suddenly, jack peered into the tent.
'did she wake up?'
'not yet..' he mumbled, shaking his head a little and looking back at jana.
it was late afternoon by now and it was getting dark.
jack came in and kneeled next to jana, watching her for a short while.
'we can only wait..' he then said softly 'if we were in a real hospital
I could give her some new blood, so this would all go a little faster, but..'
his voice trailed off shortly '.. we don't know what blood group she has,
nor does anyone else really now their own group.' sayid nodded, actually he
didn't care what could be done, he just wanted her to be fine again.
jack then petted sayid's shoulder 'I'm sure she'll make it through.'

"wheres ben?" richard asked sophie. sophie just glared at him, "hes gone off on a sulk" "well which way did he go?" he snapped back. "i'll go after him, i know where he will be" as she got up from the floor and headed the way ben went.
sophie was walking through the jungle shouting out bens name. "For god sake ben just come out" she snapped resting against a tree. when somebody stood behind her. "there you are" as she turned around and saw john standing there. "JOHN!" she squealed and hugged him. "your the only friend i got now" she cried with tears rolling down her cheeks. "thats not exactly true" "what?" she asked looking up to him. "charlotte jana, they not dead. injured! but not dead" "how?..... how do you know?" "jack and the rest of them caught up in time to save them" relief went through sophie. "oh and ben, he's just down there!" he pointed with his knife. walking away from sophie. "john don't go" but he had dissappeared through the jungle. sophie turned around and headed in the direction john pointed to.
She saw ben sitting on the log with the little stream going by. she chuckled to herself. "ben did say he comes here to get away from everyone and everything" she went over to him, ben looked up to her and shuffled over to let her down to sit.
"i'm sorry for doing all these things to you sophie, i don't blame you, for hating me" he sighed. sophie rested her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her.
"i don't hate you ben" she whispered. "im just angry at the way you do things"

Charlotte was sitting in her own tent trying to squash some extra smooth fruit with a little knive.It didn´t work too well but at least she had something to do.Jack had considered that it would be best if she´d go to her tent and get some sleep.”You can´t do anything for Jana at the moment”he had said for the 1000th time patting her shoulder.
But Charlotte didn´t want nor couldn´t she fall asleep.One should think that she would be extemly tired after the all the things that happened but surprisingly she felt terribly awake.
“Okay this will do”she said to herself after another 5 minutes and looked at the now squashed fruit with a little smile.She jumped up grabbed the fruit and the bottle of water and walked out of the tent.
“Hey I brought something”said Charlotte softly looking into Jack´s tent where Jana was still laying with her eyes closed.
“Thanks she´ll like it when she´ll wake up”said Jack quietly as Charlotte sat down next to Jana.
“So you think she´ll be fine”smiled Charlotte suddenly and turned around.”I think so, she looks considerably better than some hours ago”he said.
“That´s great news”said Charlotte looking at Sayid.”Yeah it is”he mumbled quickly noticing he was watched and smiled.

you know what, im gonna break the rules now, because i am fed up of waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A month had passed, since Sophie had seen any of her friends. She stayed with Ben and since staying at the temple. Ben looked after her every needs. Her baby bump was now staring to show. She smiled as she sat there stroking her bump. Looking at her man as he stood there chatting to Richard. Everyday she thought about her friends hoping they would be ok. She missed them dearly.

"Ben?"
"mmmm?" he said stirring from his sleep.
"i'm gonna need medical attention soon. We have no one here. I'm gonna need Jack or Juliet." sophie sat up from there bed.
"I know, but you know you can't go back. It's too dangerous for you now"
"But Ben i have too, you want this child don't you. Jacob wants me to go back."
"Jacob?" said ben sitting himself up too.
"Yes.............. i heard him today." she turned to look at ben. "We have to go back Ben" she held his hand. "Both of us"

A week had passed Charlotte was chopping up some fruit at the kitchen area when she looked up glancing over to charlie, smiling as he was laughing away with hurley over something. She started to put pieces of fruit in her bowl. When she saw Sayid run by her. She looked to the direction he was heading. Seeing Sophie, and Ben coming out from the jungle..............................

She couldn´t believe her eyes as she quickly put down the knife.
"Jana"she shouted and pointed at Ben and Sophie who were now pretty close to the camp.Sayid was already there, arguing and not looking too happy.
Charlotte ran over to Jana who was already getting up.Jana was doing a lot better.She was actually doing pretty well.The wounds had healed and it seemed that she had already sort of forgotten about her life-threatening condition one month ago.You could still see though that getting up quickly was exhausting for her but Charlotte was more than happy that her friend had survived.
"C´mon"Charlotte mumbled so they walked quickly towards Sophie who had left Ben alone with Sayid who looked outraged.
"Sophie"smiled Jana as they all stood there not knowing what to say.
"I´m glad that you are fine"replied Sophie staring at her feet.
"Yeah so am I"said Jana.
"How are you?"asked Charlotte looking at Sophie´s belly
"Well..pregnant"Sophie replied simply.
"Reeeaalllyyy"said Charlotte.
"Yeah sort of"blushed Sophie.
"I wouldn´t have noticed that"mumbled Jana teasingly and looked at Sophie as they all suddenly burst out laughing.
"It´s good to see you"grinned Sophie as she hugged Jana and Charlotte.

Sophie turned back noticing sayid going to pounce on Ben any minute. She moved standing infront of ben not letting him near him.
"Sayid don't!" she said. "If your going to hurt him. Your going to have to hurt me to." Sophie held Bens hand.
"That man deserves to be dead!" he shouted.
"That man, is the person i love" she snapped back.
Ben stood there with forming a little smirk on his face. This making Sayid angry he started to move near them.
"Thats enough Sayid!" Jack said stopping him from trying to kill him.
"Its good to have you back Sophie" he said greeting her, but glaring at ben. "Though i dunno why he is here."
"I'm here for Sophie and thats it." Ben replied.
"Fine but just don't expect us to be nice!"
"WHAT? YOUR LETTING HIM STAY?" Sayid rasied his voice! He went closer to Ben "If you do anything! and i mean anything to anyone here! You will be killed!" he threatend before storming off.

"I'm sorry ben" sophie said as she was sorting her old tent out, making it room for two. "Sayids just angry....."
"Hes only saying what he thinks i desevre. I wasn't expecting welcomings sophie. I'm only here for you and our child." he went over to her. "Now don't work yourself up about it. You should rest we had a long journey" he said making her sit down.
"But Ben theres so much to do in this tent"
"I will do it." he smiled. starting to move stuff to one side.

"How long do you think she´s gonna stay?"asked Charlotte as she dunked two bottles into the cool water.They barely had any water at the camp anymore so she, Jana and Charlie had volunteered to get some.
"Sophie?"said Jana absent-minded.
"No the polar bear thats living with us now"replied Charlotte sarcastically.
"Yeah right"smiled Jana as she put the bottles into her backpack.
"Sooooooo?"said Charlotte and looked at her.
"Oh I dunno I mean she didn´t have to much time to explain anything, did she?She had to go "save" Ben."said Jana looking around.
"Where´s Charlie?"she asked.
"I don´t know.But don´t you think we should ask her what´s going?"asked Charlotte impatiently.
"You know you really should spent more time with him"said Jana simply as she helped Charlotte to fill more bottles with water and put them into the backpack.
"With whom?Charlie?Why would I?"mumbled Charlotte and looked away quickly.Jana nodded.´"He´s nice"she then said playfully
"Yeeaaahhh.Are you okay?"said Charlotte.
"Hey you two I found some mangos.Cool eh?"waved Charlie from the distance.
"Just saying"grinned Jana and walked away.
"Okay we´ll go back to the camp then I guess"said Charlotte and shook her head.
"Did I miss anything?"grinned Charlie holding the mangos proudly in his hands.
